Terms and Conditions

1. Instructions on how to enter, prize details and other information contained within the promotional advertisements form part of these terms and conditions.

2. Subject to clause 3 & 14, entry is open to all residents of Western Australia.

3. The winner must be at least 18 years of age.

4. To enter you must complete the online form at http://info.thewest.com.au/competitions/entry/digital/index.php by midnight Thursday 23 December, 2010. One can enter up to four times. Printed entries and facsimiles are not valid.

5. The draw, to select eleven prize winners will take place Friday, 24 December, 2010 and the winners will be notified via mail by a representative of The West Australian.

6. In the instance that the winners cannot be contacted by the details provided within one (1) working day, the prize will be forfeited and a new winner will be drawn.

7. The prizes consists of: one Tron: Legacy prize pack and 10 double IMax passes. Total Prize Package value is $550.00 RRP

8. The prize must be taken as supplied and cannot be transferred, modified or exchanged for cash in part or in total. No responsibility is accepted for any variation in the value of the prize.

9. It is the winners’ responsibility to collect their prize. No cartage expenses are included in the prizes. Photo identification may be required upon collection of the prize.

10. It is the winner’s responsibility to make their own way to Hoyt's Carousel cinema, Cannington.

11. All contestants release from, and indemnify the Promoter and Event Cinemas, all liability, cost, loss or expense arising out of acceptance of any of the prizes or participation in the competition including (but not limited to) loss of income, personal injury and damage to property and whether direct or consequential, foreseeable, due to some negligent act or omission or otherwise.

12. West Australian Newspapers Limited Group, Hoyt's Cinemas and associated agencies accept no responsibility for any loss, damage, accident, death or injury resulting from the promotion.

13. It is a condition of entry that all prize winners agree to have their name and suburb published for publicity purposes if required.

14. Employees of the promoter and Hoyt's Cinemas, their subsidiaries and immediate families are ineligible to enter.

CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR THE INFORMATION ON A WEBSITE, OR TO OTHERWISE UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS COMPETITION, MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, WHETHER SUCCESSFUL OR NOT, THE PROMOTER RESERVES THE RIGHT TO TAKE WHATEVER ACTION IT CONSIDERS NECESSARY AGAINST ANY PERSON WHO IS PARTY TO THE SAID CONDUCT.

Please note that information will only be provided to the person detailed and current photographic identification may be required prior to the release of any personal information.

19. Entry into this competition signifies acceptance of all conditions. The Promoter’s decision will be final and cannot be contested. No correspondence will be entered into. The Promoters reserve the right to limit entry or amend rules if considered necessary without notice.
