New Year's Eve competition terms and conditions

FAIRFAX DIGITAL AUSTRALIA & NEW ZEALAND PTY LIMITED Cloudland/Fabrik/Westfield Carindale/brisbanetimes.com.au New Year's Eve competition terms and conditions.

1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions of entry.

2. This is a game of skill with entrants explaining in 25 words or less why they deserve to win the prize. The entry judged most creative will win.

3. Entry is open to persons over 18 years of age and Queensland residents only. Employees of Fairfax Digital Australia and New Zealand Pty Limited, the promoter, and their immediate families are ineligible to enter. Only one entry per person is permitted. All duplicate entries will be removed prior to the prize draw.

4. Promotion commences on December 22, 2010 and closes at 1pm, December 29, 2010. Promotion will be via the Fairfax Digital Network - http://www.brisbanetimes.com.au.

5. There is one prize to be given away for the duration of the competition. The draw will take place at 2pm, December 29, 2010, at Fairfax Digital, Level 13, 379 Queen Street, Brisbane. All winners will be notified by email. The judge's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

7. Prize Details are as follows:

- Fabulous hair and makeup, canapes and champagne at Fabrik Hair for two, valued at $300
- A shopping trip to Westfield Carindale that includes two hours with personal stylist Tanja Mrnjaus and a 10% discount from retail outlets when you shop with her, valued at $200
- Two tickets to Cloudland's glamouros New Year's Eve party, 'Black and White with a touch of Bright', valued $220


8. All above prizes include GST. The total maximum prize pool is valued at $720. This prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash or other prizes. Prize value is recommended retail value as provided by the supplier and is correct at time of printing. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize value.

9. The promoter may conduct further draws at the same time and place as the original draw as is necessary on , in order to distribute a prize if unclaimed by that date

10. In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the promoter then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the prize.

11. All entries become the property of the Promoter and will be entered into a database. The promoter may use the entrants' names, addresses and telephone numbers for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media worldwide without notice and without any fee being paid unless otherwise advised by the entrant.

12. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any prize/s except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
