Recorded in Australia, Katoomba Birds features Lulo’s highly acclaimed international band – who form the Latin Swing Project – Daniel Welttlinger on violin, Sean Mackenzie on piano, thumb piano and berimbau, Harald Becher on bass and Uli Kramer on drums. Apart from being the great-nephew of world-renowned musician Django Reinhardt, Lulo has also cultivated his own musical genius, honign his talent into an inimitable style that absorbs all of his musical passions. From the flourish and fire of flamenco to the intricate arragements of Latin and Brazilian jazz, the sound of Lulo Reinhardt is woven together in a tapestry of gypsy magic, resulting in a dexterity that appears effortless yet leaves the audience breathless.
