COMPETITION TERMS & CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:
Write your email address on an entry form for the chance to win a $10,000 Shopping Spree competition.
1.0 WHO CAN ENTER?
1.1. Entry is open to residents of QLD over the age of 18 years.
1.2. Entrants must submit a valid email address and join the Westfield Carindale database to enter competition.
1.3. Employees and their immediate family of: Westfield, retailers and tenants of Westfield Carindale, agencies associated with this promotion are
not eligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by
adoption), parent, step parent, grandparent, stepgrandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or first
cousin.
2.0 HOW TO ENTER?
2.1 Instructions on 'how to enter' and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry.
2.2 Only one entry permitted per person with exception of 2.3
2.3 Additional Entries:
a) Receive five entries for every $100 Red or XS Westfield Gift Card purchased in one transaction at Westfield Carindale across the ‘Promotional
Period’
b) Westfield Carindale email database members who refer a friend to the competition online will receive an additional entry for
every friend that enters online in accordance with the entry terms and conditions.
2.4 The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of
residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the
entry process. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any
stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
2.5 Incomplete, illegible or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
2.6 Entrants whom receive additional entries for Westfield Gift Card purchases must retain their original validated purchase receipt(s) for all
entries as proof of purchase. Failure to produce the proof of purchase for all entries when requested may, in the absolute discretion of the
Promoter, result in invalidation of ALL of an entrant’s entries and forfeiture of any right to a prize. Purchase receipt(s) must clearly specify the
Westfield Gift Card value of purchase and that the purchase was made during the promotional period but prior to entry.
2.7 If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the
entrant.
3.0 DURATION OF COMPETITION
3.1. The promotion commences from 9:00am AEST Monday 29 November 2010 and entries close 4.00pm AEST Friday 31 December 2010.
3.2. To enter, customers must provide a valid email address to the Westfield Carindale database.
4.0 PRIZE DRAW:
4.1. This is a game of chance and the winning entry will be drawn at Westfield Carindale Centre Management, 1151 Creek Rd, Carindale at 12noon
AEST on 28 January 2011. The Promoter reserves the right to draw additional reserve entries and record them in order in case an invalid entry or
ineligible entrant is drawn.
4.2. There will be only one prize of $10,000 in Westfield Gift Cards.
5.0 NOTIFICATION:
5.1 The winner will be notified by phone or email on Friday 28 January 2011. The winner’s details will also be published on the Westfield Carindale
website www.westfield.com.au/carindale. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
6.0 MAJOR PRIZE DETAILS:
6.1. The $10,000 Shopping Spree giveaway prize consists of 10 x $995.00 Westfield Gift Cards and 1 x $50 Westfield Gift Card making a total of
$10,000 in Westfield Gift Cards.
6.2. All Westfield Gift Card Terms & Conditions apply. Issued by Westfield Gift Card Pty Ltd CAN 113 171 663. For a full list of current participating

6.3 If the prize is not collected in accordance with these Terms and Conditions within one month of the date of the draw, it will automatically be
forfeited by that winner.
6.4 As a condition of accepting the prize, the winner must sign any legal documentation and in the form required by the Promoter and/or prize
suppliers in their absolute discretion, including but not limited to a legal release and indemnity form.
6.5 UNCLAIMED PRIZE DRAW: In the event that the prize is not collected in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, a further draw for the
single prize in this promotion may take place at the Centre Management office Westfield Carindale, 1151 Creek Road, Carindale at 12.00noon AEST
on Monday 28th February 2011. Any winner will be notified by phone and email and their name will be published on westfield.com.au/carindale on 1
March 2011. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
6.6 The winner of the prize is responsible for his or her own travel costs to reach Westfield Carindale shopping centre in order to collect and
redeem the prize.
6.7 No part of this prize is redeemable for cash or credit and no part of this prize is refundable.
6.8 Total prize pool value of the $10,000 Shopping Spree giveaway prize is $10,000.00 in Westfield Gift Cards.
7.0 Prizes are not exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. The prize will be collected in person from Westfield Carindale. The winner must
present proof of identity to claim the prize.
8.0 LATE ENTRIES: No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries.
9.0 LIABILITY: Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees, agents) excludes all liability
(including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or
consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties
or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any
entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason
beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (e) use of a prize.
10.0 VARIATION: The Promoter reserves the right to reasonably amend or vary these terms and conditions at its sole discretion, orally or in
writing, at any time throughout the competition.
11.0 PRIVACY: To provide each entrant with this competition, the Promoter needs to collect personal information about each entrant and obtain
each entrant's agreement in relation to handling this personal information. If you do not provide the information requested, you will not be entered
into the competition. All entries become the property of the Promoter. By entering the promotion, each entrant consents to the information they
submit with their entry being entered into a database and the Promoters may use this information for future promotional, marketing and publicity
purposes without any further reference or payment or other compensation to the entrant. All personal details of the entrants will be stored at the
office of the Promoters. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to these offices. Upon the entrant’s request, all
information provided will be removed from our active database. To request details to be removed, please call Westfield Carindale Centre
Management on 3120 5400 or write to Westfield Carindale Marketing, 1151 Creek Road, Carindale QLD 4152. Information will be removed as soon

By registering, each registrant is subject to Westfield’s Privacy Policy and accepts that the information they submit with their registration will be
entered into the database of Westfield and Westfield Carindale. Westfield and Westfield Carindale may use this information for future promotional,
