Terms and Conditions

1. How to enter the contest: The contest begins Monday, 17th January 2011 and ends
Friday 4th February 2011.
A. The ‘4BC Pay your bills contest" provides participating listeners with the opportunity to
receive up to $2000 dollars towards the payment of any given bill of the listener's choosing.
To participate in the contest, listeners must include a photo copy of the bill which they
have selected for entry when they submit their registration for the contest, in accordance
with 1(b) herein.
B. Listeners will have four (4) modes of entry: 1) Post your bill to the Radio 4BC office’s
Attn: “4BC Pay Your Bills” at 1) 77 Southgate Avenue, Cannon Hill, Brisbane Qld, 4170;

2) Drop off a copy of the bill to the 4BC offices at the address stated above;

3) Email the bill to win@4bc.com.au
And 4) fax to (07) 3908 8315. Original bills will not be accepted. One Bill per family and/or
household.
C. In order for this entry to be valid, you must include: 1) a separate sheet with your name,
address, daytime and evening numbers, email address if available and 2) a copy of the bill
you would like to be Paid. The bill must be addressed to the entrant who resides in the
Brisbane, Qld area and name and current address must be legible. The Account number
must be blocked out.
D. This contest will run Monday-Friday, excluding Public Holidays, once during the following
On-Air shifts; Breakfast, Mornings, Afternoons and Drive. One winner is selected from the
entries received and announced On-Air by a 4BC personality. The selected entrant will then
have twenty (20) minutes to call 1300 00 1116 and verify their information to claim their
prize.
Once the information is verified correct by the 4BC Staff, the On-Air Personality will
announce the Person identified as the correct caller – with this person having won their Bill
paid in full.
If no caller is verified within the designated timeframe the prize will be forfeited an
opportunity will be given to another entrant. A maximum of 3 opportunities will be given
per shift.

2. Eligibility: The contest is open to listeners who reside in the Brisbane CBD area. All prize
winners must be at least 18 Years of age. Prizes are not transferable and can not be
substituted.

3. Payment: Payment will be made directly into the bank account of the winner only –
within 21 days of the date won. A Representative of 4BC will call you on the telephone
numbers you have provided to coordinate payment.
No cash or cheque payments will be issued whatsoever.

4. Conditions: No purchase necessary. Odds of winning depend on the number of people
listening at any given time and are, therefore, indeterminable. Winners must be 18 or older
with Proper proof of age as stated above.
By accepting a prize, winners agree to have their names, likeness and voice used in any
advertising or broadcast material relating to this contest without additional compensation
or permission, and to sign a Liability release by which the winner will agree to hold 4BC, its
affiliated companies and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and
representatives of each of them, harmless against any and all claims losses, damages,
rights, liability or actions of any kind arising directly or indirectly from acceptance,
possession or use of this prize, including without limitation, including without limitation,
personal injuries, death, property damages and claims based upon publicity rights, false
light, false endorsement, defamation or invasion of privacy, death and property damage.
Employees of Radio 4BC Pty Ltd, its corporate parent, advertising agencies, participating
sponsors and promotional partners and the members of their immediate families are
ineligible to participate or win.

5. One entry/per envelope/per household/per family and all entries become the property
of 4BC and will not be acknowledged or returned. Radio 4BC reserves the right to refuse
consideration of any bill submitted for the contest. 4BC will not accept the following bills
for consideration; Child support payments, legal resolutions/violations, traffic infringement
notices.

6. 4BC is not responsible for and accepts no liability in the event of the inability of a
participant to complete or continue a telephone call due to equipment malfunctions, busy
lines, inadvertent disconnections, acts beyond the company’s control or otherwise. 4BC
disclaims all liability for any delays, misdeliver, loss or failure in the delivery of any item
sent by mail, courier, express, electronic transmission or other delivery method.
4BC is not responsible for mechanical, technical, electronic, communications, telephone,
computer, hardware or software errors, malfunctions or failures of any kind including:
failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed transmission of online entries, traffic congestion on
telephone lines, the internet or at an website or lost or unavailable network connections
which may limit an online entrant’s ability to participate in a contest, and any injury or
damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from
participating in or downloading any information necessary to participate in the contest.

7. In addition to the drawings referred to in 1(d) of the “4BC Pay Your Bills Contest” Rules,
4BC may add “bonus hours” or extend the ‘contest period’ which may result in additional
payments.
4BC also reserves the right to make changes to the rules of this contest at any time,
including the substitution of a prize of equivalent value, which will become effective upon
public announcement. Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant’s
disqualification, at the sole discretion of 4BC Management.
4BC is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the
administration of the contest or in the announcement of a prize.
4BC Judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
