Title: 1/2 Field Notes prize packs, Vic subs easy q Post by: LilyL on Friday 24 December 2010, 11:57:25 am (http://www.threethousand.com.au/assets/_thumbs/3twin288entryfull.jpg)
1/2 Field Notes prize packs A colab between Coudal Partners and Draplin Design Co., Field Notes aims to preserve the vanishing subgenres of memo books, pocket ledgers, and 'the simple, unassuming beauty of a well-crafted grocery list.' These design geeks are real GEEKS - they regularly film new ranges being printed (geeks!!). The goal of preserving old-school Americana extends to clever note pad varieties, such as the mammoth County Fair series. Printed in the colours of county fair ribbons, they have state facts in the back of 50 state-specific varieties. It's cool that your mobile phone can see through walls and download an elephant, but Field Notes memo pads come with a ruler in the back and a list of practical applications; for instance, 'shady transactions', and 'escape routes'. Accrodingly, we have two Field Notes prize packs to give away. Each one has two 3-packs of graph paper memo books, a Clic Pen, a No. 2 Woodgrain Pencil, and an ever-handy Band of Rubber. To enter, just answer the following question. This week's question: I will use my Field Notes memo pad to: a) transact in the shade b) write notes in a field c) graph my decline d) write songs for my new group Band of Rubber To be in the running send your answer, name AND postal address to melbourne.win@rightanglestudio.com.au. Winners will be notified by email. Subscriber only entry! Not a subscriber? It's free you willies! Sign up here. http://www.threethousand.com.au/ |
