http://www.motherinc.com.au/magazine/sydney-aquarium Sydney Aquarium – Mermaid Lagoon Exhibit Sydney Aquarium has launched an exciting new exhibit, Mermaid Lagoon, a tropical water habitat that is home to two dugongs. There are only five mythical dugongs on exhibition anywhere in the world, making Sydney Aquarium the only place in Australia where you can see these unique sea mammals up close. Pig, a 10-year-old male who was the world’s first hand-raised and rehabilitated dugong, and four-year-old female Wuru have arrived from Sea World where they were raised after being rescued as orphaned calves. Visitors to Sydney Aquarium’s new Mermaid Lagoon exhibit can meet Pig and Wuru and learn about their incredible survival story through interactive touch screens and a dedicated children’s corner where kids can colour their own dugong. Strictly one entry per person. To be eligible you may only enter once. All applications must be completed using your full name, street address (for mailing of prizes for winners), email address and phone number. The result of the draw will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. The winner will be notified by email, or if not contactable by email, by telephone and written confirmation within 2 days of the draw.
