Kidspot wants to see your first days back at school pics! Share your cutest photos of the kids heading off back to school or starting school for the first time

You can upload any photo related to going back to school. It might be your child showing off their shiny new school supplies, wearing their fancy new school shoes or all dressed up in their new uniform.

How can you win? Follow these simple steps:
1. Take a photo of your child as they prepare for back to school or in their first days back to school.
2. Read our terms & conditions.
3. Upload your photo! In the title field share your child’s name (or a nickname if you don’t want to share) and a caption in the caption field (around 150 characters).


Competition closes on Monday the 14th February at 5pm.
The two grand prize winners will receive $300 worth of Offficeworks vouchers and will be judged on the most creative photo and caption.

Terms and Conditions

1. Instructions on how to enter form part of these Conditions of Entry. Participation in this Promotion is deemed acceptance of these Conditions of Entry.

 

2. The competition is open to all residents of Australia that are over the age of 18 years and are members of the Kidspot Social, except employees of the Promoter and members of their immediate families and agencies associated with this promotion.

 

3. Promotion commences at 10:00am on 17th January 2011 and closes at 5:00pm on 14th February 2011 (“Promotional Period”).

 

4. To enter, entrants must:

a)Upload one ‘School’ image of their child to the First Days at SchoolPhoto Competition on Kidspot.com.au via http://social.kidspot.com.au/1711/0/Mums-like-us/First-days-of-school-photo-competition
b)Enter a creative caption of no more than 150 characters that will appear above their photo.

 

5. Limit is one entry per person. The user is entitled to only one vote per photo.

 

6. Incomplete, illegible and inappropriate entries will be deemed invalid and will not be included in the judging.

 

7. If the entry is deemed inappropriate or offensive, it will be removed by Kidspot administrators at their discretion.

 

8. The winner.s photo and details may be posted to the Kidspot Facebook page as well as across various Kidspot communication channels.

 

9. Upon completion of the 4 week promotion period, a panel of judges appointed by the Promoter will choose an overall winner from the pool of all photos entered over the duration of the competition. Judging will take place on 15th February 2011 at Kidspot, Level 5, 14 Queens Road, Melbourne Victoria 3004. The winner will be notified through email communication on the 16th February 2011. Each entry will be individually judged based on originality, creative and literary merit.

 

10. The overall winner of the Kidspot First Days at School photo competition will:


a) Win a prize as described in the First Days at School topic

b)Have their entry photo featured on the Kidspot Facebook page.

c) Be agreeable to the usage of their photo and details within Kidspot onsite creative, editorial features and email communication.

 

11. The judges’ decision in relation to all aspects of this promotion is final and binding on all who enter and no correspondence will be entered into.

 

12. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner.

 

13. The Entrant’s entry must be original and must not infringe on any third party’s intellectual property rights.The Promoter reserves the right to seek a declaration from any entrant that their entry complies with this clause.

 

14. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

 

15. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition.

 

16. In the event that for any reason whatsoever a prize winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the prize winner. If the prize is forfeited within twenty four business hours of the notification taking place, a re-judging will occur immediately.

 

17. Any costs associated with accessing the Kidspot website are the responsibility of the person seeking access and are dependent on the internet service provider used.

 

18. All entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt by the Promoter, not time of transmission by the entrant. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries.

 

19. All entries submitted become the property of the Promoter.

 

20. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (and their respective officers, employees and agents) exclude all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter.s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Conditions of Entry; (f) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; (g) the prize and/ or (h) participation in the promotion.
