Welcome to summer!  Alice Springs summers can be notoriously hot and sometimes your priority is just to keep cool and comfortable. You might automatically reach for the air-conditioning control, however there are lots of ways you can keep cool in summer and keep your energy use to a minimum at the same time.

To help you have a cool summer, Alice Solar City is running a series of competitions over summer about keeping cool.  Each competition  you enter gives you the chance to win your choice of a Cool Summer food pack valued at $50.
 
To be eligible to win all you have to do is to answer three questions about keeping cool, and tell us in about 25 words what you have done during the week to keep cool.  You will then go into our draw for that  competition.  The winner will be notified by phone or email by the end of the next working day after the draw, and their name and prize published on this website.

Terms and conditions
• The Competition commences Wednesday 1 December 2010 and closes at
5.00pm Australian Central Standard time on Monday 28 February 2011.
• There will be several separate competitions run during this time and the
closing date of each competition will be posted on the website.
• Entrants may submit one entry per week.
• The winners will be the first selected with all answers correct by Alice Solar
City at the end of each competition.
• The winner will be notified by telephone during business hours, on the day of
the draw or by the end of next working day, using the details provided by the
winning participants with their entry.
• Alice Solar City’s decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be
entered into.
• Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash.
• Prizes are to be collected from the Smart Living Centre during opening hours.
• Details of the prize and the prize winner will be published on this website. By
submitting an entry, entrants agree to have their names and prize published on
the website.
• Alice Solar City will not be liable for any loss, whether direct, indirect or
consequential, or for personal injury, which is suffered or sustained at or in
connection with this competition or use of the prizes, except for any liability
which cannot be excluded by law.
• If any prize remains unclaimed by 15 March 2011, Alice Solar may determine
an alternative winner in order to distribute the prize.
• Apart from publishing the winners name and prize, no information from the
entries will be retained by Alice Solar City or passed on to any other party
