Grapevine Prize Draw & Referrers Prize Draw
Australia Day every year (the next draw deadline is 26 January 2011)

These draws are for special prizes out of the Prize Box as explained in the Book Comments Prize Draw above.

How do you enter?
Grapevine Prize Draw - When ordering online, simply advise how you found out about the website.
Referrers Prize Draw - If you found out about the website (books, cards or photographs) from someone else, and they are already recorded on my mailing list as having bought a book or photograph themselves and live in a different location, fill in their details and you both go into the Referrers Prize Draw as well.
(Please note; if the other person is not recorded on my mailing list as a buyer, or if the other person lives in the same house/unit as you, unfortunately the entry in this draw will be disqualified. This draw has been set up specifically to thank people who have bought books, cards or photographs and told other people, who then purchased themselves.)

Prize Draw Terms & Conditions
These competitions are open to everyone on the mailing list who has fulfilled the criteria specified and whose name and contact details are complete and current. If the winner cannot be contacted because their contact details are outdated or inaccurate then a replacement winner will be drawn within 7 days. This is because unfortunately I don’t have the administrative resources to track down people who have moved and not advised their altered contact details (in particular, postal address & email address). If your postal address and/or email address changes, let me know straight away - because if your newsletter is 'Returned to Sender' and I can't contact you by email, you can no longer be included in the prize draws.
Winners are contacted by email to confirm their delivery address details are correct, and if you have won a framed photograph, I will ask for a street delivery address (rather than a P.O. Box). And if your mailing address becomes outdated, I will try to email you to ask for your current postal address. So if you get a new email address please remember to let me know.
The winner’s name, nearest town/suburb and country (if not Australia) will be added to the ‘Prize Draws’ section of the website, as has been done for the previous competition winners listed below. If any winner has any objection to these basic details being publicly recorded they can be exempted, and initials used instead, but the winner must let me know as soon as they have been notified that they have won.
In each prize draw, only one entry per postal address or per household/business will be accepted. This means that 'referrals' from people who live at the same address, are not eligible for the 'Referrals' prize draw.
Though most prize entries for most prize draws close on Australia Day, the actual drawing of winners usually takes place in February, because it can take considerable administration time to ensure the mailing list is sufficiently up-to-date. But please note that all orders received & dispatched are precisely dated - so orders received after Australia Day are only included in the following year's prize draws. Details of the prize draw winners are not usually added to the ‘Prize Draws’ section of the website until some weeks afterwards, when the next batch of website updates are processed. So there may be a delay of some weeks in-between when a competition has been drawn and the prize sent to the winner, and when the details appear publicly on the website. Prize draw winners are notified straight away, by email.
