Terms & Conditions

West Side Story Competition

1.    Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry.
2.    The promoter is Borders Australia Pty Ltd (A.B.N. 401 088 011 27) of Level 19/8 Exhibition Street, Melbourne, VIC 3000 (“Promoter”).
3.    Entry is only open to Borders v.i.p. members, who have a South Australian postal address or have elected Borders Adelaide as their local store. 
4.    Employees of the Promoter, franchises, and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.
5.    The prize for each of the three winners, includes a double pass (2 tickets) to the final performance of West Side Story at 3.00pm, Sunday 23 January at the Festival Theatre, Adelaide Festival Centre. Total prize pool is valued at $660. 
6.    The prize will be awarded to the three entrants in the West Side Story Competition that most creatively answer the following question in 25 words or less: What is your favourite song from West Side Story and why? 
7.    This is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner. 
8.    Competition commences 07/01/2011. Entries close 5:00pm AEDST on 13/01/2011. 
9.    The winners will be selected by the Promoter. Winners will be notified by email. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
10.    The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize value. Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. Any costs incurred by the winner in excess of the value of the prize (including GST) and all incidental or personal costs incurred in redeeming the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. 
11.    Redemption of the prize is subject to any and all conditions specified by the Promoter at the time of awarding the prize.
12.    The Promoter will contact the winner by email three times. If the winner does not claim the prize within 3 days of notification by the Promoter, then the prize will be forfeited by the winner. 
13.    Prize must be taken as offered and cannot be varied. Any unused portion of the prize is not-transferable, non-refundable and non-redeemable for other goods or services and cannot be taken as cash.
14.    The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained, as a result of the result of taking the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
15.    The Promoter will not accept responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries. Entries that are damaged, forged, incomplete, illegible or do not comply with the terms and conditions will be deemed invalid.
16.    The Promoter collects entrant’s personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy which can be viewed online at www.borders.com.au/privacy
