Competition overview


This overview forms part of the general Terms and Conditions for GOLD104.3’s SUMMER EXCURSIONS (competition). The promoter is the Australian Radio Network (GOLD104.3) GOLD104.3’S SUMMER EXCURSIONS will air on GOLD104.3 Melbourne.


SUMMER EXCURSIONSwill give listeners the chance TO WIN AN EXCURSION TO ONE OF THE THREE MELBOURNE ZOOS (MELBOURNE ZOO, HEALESVILLE SANCTUARY AND WERRIBEE OPEN RANGE ZOO) FOR A FAMILY OF 2 ADULTS AND UP TO THREE CHILDREN.


LISTENERS WILL BE DIRECTED TO THE GOLD104.3 WEBSITE TO REGISTER THEIR DETAILS TO WIN A PLACE ON ONE OF THE THREE EXCURSIONS.


 


Terms and Conditions


   1.



      The Promoter is Australian Radio Network (GOLD104.3) ABN 32 067 769 466, Level 2, 21-31 Goodwood Street, Richmond, 3121.

   2.


      The Radio Station is GOLD104.3FM.

   3.


      Information on how to enter and prizes forms part of these terms and conditions. Any general competition rules or terms and conditions of the Radio Station do not apply to this Promotion.

   4.


      Any entry which does not comply with these terms and conditions is invalid.

   5.


      Entry is open to residents of Victoria. Employees of the Promoter or its associated companies, employees of any agencies, affiliates, sponsors, sub-sponsors or representatives of the Promoter and the immediate families of any such employees are not eligible to enter. Any person who has won a prize valued at $1,000 or more from the Promoter, or the Radio Station, in any promotion within the past six months, is ineligible to enter.

      The Promotion commences Monday 3rd January 2011 and finishes on Sunday 30th January 2011 (“Promotional Period”).   

   7.


      To enter this Promotion, participants will need to register their details through the GOLD104.3 website, including details on how many children they will be bringing on the excursion.  The winners will be drawn at the conclusion of each week for an excursion the following week.

   8.


      The excursion dates are as follows:



Thursday 20th January 2011 – Healesville Sanctuary (winners drawn Monday 10th January 2011)


Thursday 27th January 2011 – Werribee Open Range Zoo (winners drawn Monday 17th January 2011)


Tuesday 1st February 211 – Melbourne Zoo (winners drawn Monday 24th January 2011)

      All excursions depart from and return to the Australian Radio Network station in Goodwood Street, Richmond.  Getting to and from the departure point is the winners responsibility.  Winners should be aware of the parking restrictions around Goodwood Street.

   2.


      Participants are not limited in the attempts at entry, however any form of automated entry using any other devices or software (not previously specified) is invalid.

   3.


      Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt by the Promoter. The Promoter is not responsible for failure to receive any entry for any cause beyond its control.

   4.


      Each entrant acknowledges and agrees that:

      he or she may be required by the Promoter, in its absolute discretion, to:

         1.


            participate in promotional activities for the benefit of the Promoter (including participating in a sound recording, photograph, video or film session); and

         2.


            that he or she will not, without the prior written consent of the Promoter (which may be given or withheld in its absolute discretion) participate in any other media activities, promotions or events for the purpose of or which involve discussion, commenting on, expressing a view or giving an account of the Promotion, the Promoter, its related bodies corporate or the operations of the Promoter and its related bodies corporate; and

      in promotional activities referred to in Clause 16(a)(i) and (ii) he/she will express a positive view of the Promoter and its operations and refrain from expressing a negative or disparaging view of the Promoter, its related bodies corporate or the operations of the Promoter or its related bodies corporate.

      Each entrant acknowledges and agrees that the Promoter has the right to use any materials generated in connection with the Promotion in any medium and in any manner it sees fit.

      Each prize is made up of the following components –

      Special access to behind the scenes experiences



             Please Note – each Zoo has different experiences and the behind the scenes access is particular to each Zoo.

      The total prize is valued at no less than $1,344AUD

   2.


      The prize is not refundable for cash.

   3.


      Prizes are not transferable. Prize values are correct at the time of printing but no responsibility is accepted for any variation in the value of any prizes.

   4.


      The Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage, including indirect or consequential loss or damage, or personal injury suffered during the course of accepting or using the prize, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

   5.


      A winner may be required to sign a waiver of liability and indemnity in favour of the Promoter in respect of a prize, in the form determined by the Promoter.

   6.


      All entries become the property of the Promoter. All details will be held in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy which can be viewed at the website of the Radio Station at www.gold1043.com.au

   7.


      Entrants are eligible to win one excursion only.

   8.


      All decisions made by the Promoter are final and no correspondence will be entered into.

   9.


      Subject to the approval required by any relevant gaming or lotteries authority, if any prize item is unavailable despite the Promoter’s reasonable endeavours to procure it in Australia, the Promoter may substitute a different prize item of equal or greater value.

  10.


      If the Promotion is not able to be run as planned, whether caused by computer virus, line drop-out or congestion, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or other cause beyond the control of the Promoter which affects the administration, security, fairness or integrity of the Promotion, the Promoter may cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion. The Promoter may disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.
