1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions of entry. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions of entry. The promotion is open to all residents of Australia. Employees of the promoter and their immediate families and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.

2. To enter, simply go to www.okmagazine.com.au and follow the prompts to enter the promotion. Tell us your full name, address, contact phone number and answer in 25 words or less ‘Who would you take to a Vibe Hotel and why?’

3. The entire promotional period commences 00.01 (AEDT) Friday, 14th January 2011 and closes midnight (AEDT) Sunday, February 20, 2011. Only one entry per person permitted per household. Identification of an individual will be deemed to be consisting of a unique answer, a contact name and a contact address.

4. The promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these conditions of entry or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

5. This is a game of skill – chance plays no part in determining the winner. The promotion will be judged by a panel of judges appointed by the promoter. The promoter's decision in relation to all aspects of this promotion is binding on all who enter. No correspondence will be entered into. The judge will take place at the promoter's premises and will begin at 11am on Monday, February 21, 2010. The winner will be notified by phone or email using contact details provided in their entry within 14 days of competition close date.

6. For holiday prize, flights, spending money, additional meals, beverages, taxes, insurance, transport to and from departure point, transfers, interstate transfers, taxes, fuel levies, items of a personal nature, in-room charges, service charges and all other ancillary costs are not included in the prize unless otherwise stated and are the responsibility of the winner. Any cancellations or changes to travel plans may incur a cancellation and/or rebooking fee. Room upgrades will be at the expense of the winner. The prize can only be redeemed by the recipient named the winner and their nominated travel companion. The winner and their nominated travel companion must travel at the same time. It is advisable to take out personal travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances that may affect your travel plans. This prize is not valid with any other offer, is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash and must be taken intact. During the entire duration of the prize, a nominated parent/guardian must accompany any person under 18 years of age. Prize is subject to the standard terms and conditions of individual prize and service providers. Once accommodation vouchers are issued they are non-changeable. In the event that for any reason whatsoever the winner does not take all elements of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of prize. Bookings are subject to availability and seasonal embargo periods apply. Bookings should be made in advance to avoid disappointment. A valid credit card is required at check-in to cover any incidentals incurred throughout the stay. Prize is valid for six months from date of draw.

7. The best entry as determined by the judges will win:



* One nights accommodation for two people in a standard room at any Vibe Hotel in Australia (locations included Sydney, Melbourne, Surfers Paradise and Darwin)
*Late check out for 12noon

* Buffet breakfast for two

8. In the event that for any reason whatsoever the prize winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the promoter, then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the prize winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu.

9. In the event that the prize, or part of the prize, is unavailable, the promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize or part of the prize in its discretion with an alternative prize or part of the prize to the same and equal recommended retail value and/or specification subject to reference of to all relevant state and territory regulations

10. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid.

11. The promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, either caused by website users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in this competition, or by any technical error that may occur in the course of the administration of this competition. The promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.

12. Any costs associated with accessing the promotional email is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used. Any contact details entered incorrectly on the email shall be deemed invalid.

13. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion (subject to all relevant state and territory regulations) to cease the promotion with fair notification to the entrants. The form of such notification is at the complete discretion of the promoter.

14. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these conditions of entry; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant and/or (f) redemption of the prize.

15. All entries become the property of the promoters. The collection use and disclosure of personal information provided in connection with this promotion is governed by the promoter’s privacy notice (see www.okmagazine.com.au – tab appears at the bottom of the screen).

16. By entering the competition, the entrant consents to receipt of any email regarding the competition, and other emails which inform the entrant of the promoter’s other publications, products, services and events and to promote third party goods and services it may be interested in.
