You could win A-Reserve tickets to the Tony and Pulitzer Prize nominated play In the Next Room, or the Vibrator Play. After the production, you attend an exclusive Night with the Actors where you can meet and greet the stars of the Sydney Theatre Company

TERMS AND CONDITION

1. Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry. Entry into the Competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.

2. Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 and over only. Employees of Special Broadcasting Services Corporation ("SBS"), PANTV Pty Ltd ("PANTV"), The Sydney Theatre Company, Beinteractive Pty Ltd and their associated agencies, companies and immediate families are ineligible. By entering the Competition, entrants will be deemed to agree with these terms of entry.

3. The "Sydney Theatre Company – In the Next Room" Competition ("The Competition") commences on Monday 17 January 2011 at 10am AEDT and ends on Thursday 10 February 2011 at 10am ADST.

4. To enter, participants must go to the STVDIO Channel website: www.stvdio.com.au and complete an online entry form. Participants must register their details including (but not limited to) name, address, postcode and phone number.

5. Online entries are limited to one entry per email address. All entries become and remain the property of PANTV.

6. PANTV reserves the right to request the winner to provide proof of identity, proof of Australian residency status at the nominated prize delivery address and/or proof of entry validity, in order to claim the prize. Acceptance of proof of identification, Australian residency and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of PANTV. In the event that the winner cannot provide proof, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.

7. Incomprehensible and incomplete entries will be deemed invalid.

PRIZES

8. The winner will receive the following prize:
a. 2 x A Reserve Tickets to the Sydney Theatre Production of In the Next Room: The Vibrator Play” on Monday 21st February 2011, followed by a “Night with the Actors”, ie a question and answer session with the cast and crew of the production. (Valued at $170)
b. Return economy class airfares for two people from the winner’s nearest capital city within Australia to Sydney. (Valued at up to $300). If the winner’s nearest capital city is Sydney, this component of the prize will not be applicable.
c. Two nights accommodation for two people (twin share)at the Medina Grand Sydney Hotel on Sunday 20 February 2011 and Monday 21 February 2011.(Valued at $572)
d. Dinner for two at Aria Restaurant (valued at up to $250)
The Prize is valued at a maximum of $1292.

9. All valid entries are automatically entered into the prize draw. The winner will be drawn by Beinteractive Pty Ltd at Level 8, 155 George Street, The Rocks, Sydney NSW 2000 on Friday 11 February 2011 at 10am AEDT. The winner will be notified by phone and in writing within 2 days of the draw.. The name of the winner will be announced on the STVDIO channel website www.stvdio.com.au and in the Australian newspaper on Tuesday 15 February 2011.

10. If the prize remains unclaimed by Monday 14 February at 4pm, an unclaimed prize redraw will be conducted Tuesday 15 February at 11am at the same place of major draw subject to state regulations. The winner will be notified by phone and in writing within 2 days of the draw.. The winner will also be published in the Australian newspaper on Monday 21 February 2011.

11. All prizes are as depicted or described in the promotions for the competition and are not subject to change.

12. PANTV and SBS accept no responsibility for any loss, damages, or injury incurred to enter the competition or in connection with taking up the prize.

13. The prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.

14. Once the prize has left the prize supplier’s premises, we take no responsibility for prizes damaged, delayed or lost in transit.

TRAVEL PRIZE

15. Once booked and if approved by the prize supplier, any changes may incur a cancellation fee or amendment fee at the cost of the winner. The winner (and their travel companion) will not accrue any frequent flyer points from taking the prize.

16. Travel must be undertaken to arrive in Sydney no later than midday on Sunday 20 February 2011.If travel has not been redeemed within this time period, tickets shall be deemed null and void. Bookings are subject to availability and are not re-routable. Once tickets have been issued any fee incurred for changes will be at the cost of the winner.The prize must be booked through STVDIO Marketing Department. The prize must be booked before Thursday 17 February 2011.

17. A credit card imprint or cash deposit may be required from the winner at check-in to the hotel, for all incidental charges. Once accommodation vouchers are issued they are non-changeable.

18. Neither SBS, PANTV, the Sydney Theatre Company, Beinteractive Pty Ltd or their associated companies will be held liable for any loss, damage or injury of the results directly or indirectly from the winner taking part in any aspect of the prize. Where relevant, the winner agrees that they take full responsibility for any activities engaged in while travelling and engaging in the prize package.

19. The winner is responsible for all costs not expressly listed in paragraph 8 including without limitation, meals, entertainment, other travel and accommodation, transfers, passports, visas, re-entry permits, spending money, freights, excess baggage, government taxes, departure taxes, ground transportation any tax liabilities, airport charges, any applicable surcharges and any other related costs. Travel insurance is not included in the prize and will be the responsibility of the winner. Travel insurance is highly recommended to protect against the additional costs incurred in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

20. The Winner and their travelling companion must travel on the same flight as each other to their destination.

21. It is the responsibility of the winner to enquire about local issues and conditions at destinations before travel.

22. Neither SBS, PANTV, the Sydney Theatre Company, Beinteractive Pty Ltd or their associated companies is responsible, to the extent permitted by law, for acts of god, acts of terrorism or war (declared or undeclared) or other events beyond SBS, PANTV and the Sydney Theatre Company’s control which prevent awarding or acceptance of the prize in accordance with the prize description.

23. If the prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value, subject to state regulation.

24. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the promoter in its absolute discretion.

25. Once prizes have left the Promoter’s premises, the Promoter takes no responsibility for prizes damaged, delayed or lost in transit.

26. The prize is for the specified dates of the event only. If the winner (for whatever reason) is unable to travel or does not take an element of the prize within the time stipulated by the Promoter then the prize will be forfeited and cash will not be awarded in lieu of the prize.

FINAL CONDITIONS

27. Prize values are based upon the recommended retail prices at the time of printing (inclusive of GST). PANTV and SBS accept no responsibility for change in the prize value between now and the ultimate prize redemption date.

28. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and the prize supplier’s requirements.

29. PANTV and SBS accept no responsibility for any loss, damages, or injury incurred in entering the competition or taking up the Prize.

30. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion. The Promoter's legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.

31. PANTV, SBS, the Sydney Theatre Company, Beinteractive and their associated agencies and companies assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available.

32. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, subject to any written direction given under state regulation.

33. All entries become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter collects personal information about you to enable you to participate in this promotion but no further use of this information will be made without prior consent. All opt-in entries will be entered into a database and The Promoter may use the entrant's names, addresses and telephone numbers for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media worldwide without notice and without any fee being paid unless otherwise advised by the entrant, subject to provisions of the Privacy Act 1988. By opting-in, entrants confirm that they allow their details to be used for this purpose. If entrants no longer consent to their details being used for future marketing purposes, the entrant should contact The Promoter on their details set out below. Any request to update, modify or delete the entrant's details should be directed to The Promoter.

34. All details of the entrants will be used and preserved in accordance with the National Privacy Principles. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to that office. Unless otherwise notified, PANTV may use the entries and details of entrants for promotional and publicity purposes. 35. You acknowledge that Beinteractive, on behalf of PANTV, is collecting the entrants’ personal information for the purpose of conducting and promoting this competition (including but not limited to determining and notifying the winner) and agree to your personal information being disclosed to Beinteractive for this purpose.

36. Entrants’ personal information may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery departments and winners’ names published as required under the relevant lottery legislation. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to the Promoter.
