TERMS & CONDITIONS: Rush In To RTV Prize Draw
This document sets out the terms of participation in the RTV “Rush In To RTV Prize Draw”.
1. The promoter of the Competition is RTV, 41 Wittenoom Street, East Perth, WA 6004.
2. The Competition is open to all customers who purchase any Toshiba notebook (Excluding Netbooks) during the
promotional period between January 4th 2011 and February 28th 2011 purchased in Australia only. Employees
of the Promoter, RTV and their immediate families and any organisation or individual associated with the provision
of the prize(s) are not eligible to enter.
3. Each entry must be entered in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. By entering the Competition, each
entrant agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. The Promoter may in its discretion refuse to award any
prize to any entrant who fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions. Printing errors or other quality assurance
matters outside the control of the individual player will not be used as the sole basis for refusing to award a prize.
4. Entry into the Competition is free and can be submitted immediately following the purchase of any Toshiba
Notebook model (the Products) – excluding Netbooks from RTV. Customers are restricted to one entry per item for
Satellite Pro Notebooks and Tecra Notebooks purchased. Customers are restricted to two entries per item for
Portégé R700 Notebooks purchased. Maximum units claim is 1000 units per customer per order.
5. Any fringe benefit tax liabilities remain the responsibility of the recipient and not the Promoter.
6. The Competition opens 10th January, 2011 and concludes at 8pm (AEST) on 28th February, 2011 (“Competition
Period”). Any entry received after the Competition Period will be deemed invalid. No responsibility is accepted for
late, lost, delayed or misdirected entries.
7. To enter the Competition, follow these instructions:
 Simply purchase a Toshiba Notebook from RTV within the competition period.
 The Sales Assistant will then submit a copy of the proof of purchase with the product’s unique serial
number and the customer’s contact details into the prize draw box within the store.
8. You may enter the Competition more than once provided you enter a unique Serial number for each Product
purchase entry.
9. All entries received at RTV each week between 9:00am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday during the promotion period
(and fulfilling the above criteria), will qualify for the competition.
10. All valid entries will go into the draw for the chance to win one of these prizes – Toshiba’s Regza 40CV700A (1st
prize) valued at $1099 RRP or Toshiba Camileo PA3790A-1CAM X100 Video Camera (2nd Prize) valued at $499
RRP.
11. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any variation in prize value.
12. No component of the above prizes can be transferred or redeemed for cash. In the event that any of the prizes
become unavailable due to circumstances beyond the Promoter's control, the Promoter reserves the right to
provide a similar product to the same or greater value as the original prize, subject to any applicable laws or written
directions made under applicable legislation.
13. Decisions of the Promoter are final and will be binding on each person who enters the Competition and no
correspondence will be entered into. The prize draw will be drawn at 12:00pm (noon) (WST) on Tuesday 1st March
2011 at RTV, 41 Wittenoom Street, East Perth, WA 6004. All Prize Winners will be notified via phone or email using
the contact details provided in the proof of purchase invoice. Please allow 28 days from date of notification for the
collection/delivery of the prizes. Prize will be collectable at RTV, or be delivered to the winner at their cost. If a prize
is not collected/received within 28 days after the conclusion of the Competition, the Prize Winner should contact
RTV at greg.naso@rtvcomputers.com.au.
14. In the event that a Prize Winner is unable to be contacted, the Promoter will retain the prize for seven (7) days from
the date of the draw. If the winner does not contact RTV within seven (7) days of the date of the draw, the Promoter
will redraw another winner for the unclaimed prize. Should the prize be unclaimed, or the winner unable to claim the
prize for whatever reason, a redraw will take place at 12:00pm (noon) on Tuesday 8th March 2011 at RTV, 41
Wittenoom Street, East Perth, WA 6004, Australia.
15. The Promoter respects your personal information (PI). All PI collected by the Promoter will be dealt with under the
privacy policy which can be viewed here or sent to any person on request. PI is collected to enable the Promoter to
administer and promote this Competition and the winners. The Promoter may also use PI collected for future
promotional, marketing and publicity purposes. PI collected will not be disclosed by the Promoter to any third
parties. Any person is entitled to contact the Promoter and request access to any PI the Promoter holds about
them, at any time. If an entrant does not truthfully provide the entire requested PI on the competition entry form
they may not be eligible to enter this Competition or win any prize.
16. This Competition is authorised under the permit for the Conduct of a Trade Promotion Lottery- Gaming and
Wagering Commission Act 1987 (Section 104).
