Terms and Conditions for NSW Seniors Card 2011 Discount Directory
Competition
1. Information on prizes and how to enter forms part of these conditions of entry.
2. Entry is open to all NSW Seniors Card members except employees and the
immediate families of the Promoter and its agencies associated with the promotion.
3. Entries are limited to one entry per NSW Seniors Card member.
4. Entries will be accepted from 18th January 2011. Entries close on 18th March
2011. This is a game of chance and skill plays no part in determining the winner. The
judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
5. Entry is via the provision of a valid email address and entering the competition on
the NSW Seniors Card website
(http://www.seniorscard.nsw.gov.au/competitions/competitionindex.asp).
6. Incomplete or illegible email address entries are ineligible.
7. No responsibility will be accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries.
8. The drawing of the prize will take place at 10am on 22nd March 2011 at Level 5,
83 Clarence St, SYDNEY NSW 2000. If the prize is not claimed by 31 March 2011, a
redraw will take place on 1 April 2011 at the same address.
9. The winner will be notified by telephone and email. The winner’s details will be
published in the Seniors Card eNewsletter EXTRA! (April 2011 edition) and on the
NSW Seniors Card website at www.seniorscard.nsw.gov.au.
10. The promoter reserves the right to request the winner to provide proof of identity,
proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address, and/or proof of entry
validity. Proof of identification, residency and entry validity considered suitable for
verifications are at the discretion of the promoter.
11. Prize winners are advised that tax implications may arise from their prize
winnings and they should seek independent financial advice prior to the acceptance
of the prize.
12. The prize package valued at approximately $15,000 includes:
• Return economy airfares for two from Sydney to Johannesburg, South
Africa, including airport taxes.
• Private transfer from Johannesburg airport to Rosebank Crown Plaza
• 2 nights’ accommodation for two in a Double or Twin Room at Crown
Plaza Rosebank, including a Continental Breakfast
• Shuttle transfer from Rosebank Crown Plaza to Casa De Sol
• 2 nights’ accommodation for two in a Double or Twin Room at Casa De
Sol, including breakfast
• Private transfer from Casa De Sol to Hoedspruit Airport
• 2 nights’ accommodation for two in a Double or Twin Room at Makakali
Private Game Reserve, including return transfers from Hoedspruit Airport,
all meals and two game activities
• Private transfer from Hoedsruit Airport to Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge (including
vehicle entrance fee and entrance fee per person into Sabi Sands Game
Reserve)
• 2 nights’ accommodation for two in a Double or Twin Room at Sabi Sabi
Bush Lodge, including all meals and game activities
• Private transfer from Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge to Casa De Sol
• Shuttle transfer from Casa De Sol to Johannesburg Airport
13. The airline tickets must be issued by 31 May 2011, or the ticket prize will be
forfeited. By accepting the prize the prize winner agrees with the booking terms and
conditions of travel on South African Airways.
14. The prize must be used by 14 December 2011.
15. The winner and companion ticket holder must travel and stay together. Economy
class flights on South African Airways and all accommodation is subject to

patrick@latitudetravel.com.au to book your travel and provide your prize-winner
letter.
16.Tickets are non-transferable, non-refundable nor redeemable for cash or other
goods or services.
17. The prize does not include Australian domestic flights. Any other travel related
expenses are to be borne by the winner. Travel insurance is not included in the prize
but it is recommended that the winner and companion obtain coverage.
18. The Promoter makes no representations or warranties as to the
quality/suitability/merchantability of any of the goods/services offered as prizes. To
the extent permitted by law, The Promoter is not liable for any loss suffered or
sustained, to person or property and including, but not limited to, consequential
(including economic) loss by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent,
by the Promoter, or its servants or agents, in connection with the arrangement for
supply, or the supply, of any goods or services by any person to the prize winner
and, where applicable, to any family/persons accompanying the winner.
19. Neither NSW Seniors Card, Ageing, Disability and Home Care, Department of
Human Services NSW, THIS IS AFRICA or their associated travel providers are
responsible, to the extend permitted by law, for acts of god, acts of terrorism or war
(declared or undeclared) or other events beyond the Promoter’s control which
prevent awarding of the prize in accordance with the prize description.
20. The Promoter collects entrants’ personal information in order to conduct the
promotion and update member details on the NSW Seniors Card database. The
Promoter will not disclose it to other organisations that may use it. A request to
access, update or correct any information should be directed to the Promoter at the
address set out below.
