WA Seniors Card Discount Directory 2010 - 2012 Member Survey Competition Terms & Conditions 1. Information on prizes and how to enter forms part of these conditions of entry. 2. Entry is open to all WA Seniors Card members except employees and the immediate families of the Promoter and its agencies associated with the promotion. 3. Entries close last mail received on 28 October 2011. This is a game of chance and skill plays no part in determining the winner. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. 4. No responsibility will be accepted for late, lost or misdirected mail. 6 The drawing of the prize will take place at 10am (WST) on Tuesday 1st November 2011 at the Department for Communities – WA Seniors Card Centre, located at 1st Floor, Albert Facey House, 469 Wellington Street, Perth. If the prize is not claimed by 4 November 2011, a redraw will take place on 8 November 2011 at the same address. 7 The winner will be notified by telephone and mail. The winner’s details will be published in a Seniors Card press release and on the Seniors Card Website www.seniorscard.wa.gov.au. 8 The promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity, proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address, and/or proof of entry validity. Proof of identification, residency and entry validity considered suitable for verifications are at the discretion of the promoter. 9 Prize winners are advised that tax implications may arise from their prize winnings and they should seek independent financial advice prior to the acceptance of the prize. 10 The prize package valued at $5,560 includes: Two return Gold Kangaroo Service tickets on the Indian Pacific from Perth to Adelaide and then Adelaide to Perth Onboard meals and sleeping accommodation for two people on the train journey 11 The offer is valid until 1 November 2012. The winner and companion ticket holder must travel together on all sectors. The tickets are subject to space being available and therefore, travel during peak periods and embargo periods may be restricted. Bookings cannot be made prior to 60 days before departure. Please contact Victoria Turnbull of Great Southern Rail (Ph: 08 8213 4332) to book your travel, and quote the prize number disclosed on your prizewinner certificate. 12 Tickets are non-transferable, non-refundable nor redeemable for cash or other goods or services. 13 All stopover accommodation in Adelaide and any other travel related expenses are to be borne by the passenger. Travel insurance is not included in the prize but it is recommended that the winner obtain coverage. 14 The Promoter makes no representations or warranties as to the quality/suitability/merchantability of any of the goods/services offered as prizes. To the extent permitted by law, The Promoter is not liable for any loss suffered or sustained, to person or property and including, but not limited to, consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter, or its servants or agents, in connection with the arrangement for supply, or the supply, of any goods or services by any person to the prize winner and, where applicable, to any family/persons accompanying the winner. 15 Neither WA Seniors Card, Department for Communities, Great Southern Railways or their associated companies are responsible, to the extend permitted by law, for acts of god, acts of terrorism or war (declared or undeclared) or other events beyond the Promoter’s control which prevent awarding of the prize in accordance with the prize description. 16 The Promoter collects entrants’ personal information in order to conduct the promotion. The Promoter will not use this information, or disclose it to other organisations that may use it.
