Thanks for taking the time to fill in our survey or surveys.

The information will inform the development of a Regional Food System that will support the production, distribution and sale of local food for local consumption and therefore help support our local farmers, provide healthy, fresh, seasonal, regional food to our local community and create authentic local tourism experiences that will have visitors raving about the amazing food offering experienced in Tropical North Queensland.

As an added incentive, everyone who fills out a survey is eligible to enter our

Local Food Survey Competition.
The prize is $250 worth of premium seafood from Cairns Ocean Products. Follow the prompts at the end of your preferred survey to enter. Please read the Competition Terms and Conditions here.

Food Survey Competition – Terms and Conditions
ELIGIBILITY:

This competition is open to any person who fills in any of the four surveys listed above and is 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Persons may only enter once. Employees of Advance Cairns, Southern Cross University or Cairns Ocean Products or its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising or promotion agencies are not eligible, nor are members of these employees’ families (defined as parents, children, siblings, spouse and life partners).

TO ENTER:

Complete the personal details at the end of the survey and submit the survey. Advance Cairns reserves the right to disqualify anyone in breach of these Terms and Conditions.  There will be one entry per person.

TIMING:

This competition runs from 1st November 2010.  The closing date of this competition is 14th February 2011.  Completed entries must reach Advance Cairns, 51 The Esplanade, Cairns no later than 5pm on the closing date.

USE OF DATA:

All data collected through this competition remains confidential and will not be used for future Advance Cairns marketing activity or provided to any third party.

SELECTION OF WINNERS:

The winner will be determined by a random draw conducted by Southern Cross University and witnessed by a Justice of the Peace.  The winner will be notified by email by Advance Cairns. By entering this competition the winner agrees to a publicity release and/or a photograph to be used in regional media.

PRIZE:

The first prize is a voucher to the value of $250 to be spent at Cairns Ocean Products, Draper Street, Portsmith QLD.   Prizes are as stated and non transferable. No cash or other alternatives available. Advance Cairns reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. The prize will be sent to the winner by registered mail.

WINNERS LIST:

The winner consents to their surname being made publicly available. The winners’ names will be available for a period of 2 months after the closing date by email request.

OTHER:

No correspondence will be entered into regarding either this competition or these Terms and Conditions. In the unlikely event of a dispute, Advance Cairns’ decision shall be final. Advance Cairns reserve the right to amend, modify, cancel or withdraw this competition at any time without notice.
