Twenty years after its release, De La Soul revisit one of the most important recordings in the evolution of hip hop... ‘De La Soul Is Dead’. The album altered the cultural landscape, ushering in a new era of positive and ‘conscious’ hip hop. Mase, Dave and Pos - with legendary producer Prince Paul in tow - recreate classic joints like ‘(A Rollerskatin Jam Called) Saturdays’, ‘Ring Ring’, ‘Keepin’ The Faith’ and ‘Pass The Plugs’ at The Tivoli on Friday February 18.
