One lucky winner will be decided by the Kidspot Team. We’ll all decide on a winner that we think has the most brilliant entry.

    The second iPad will be awarded to the entry with the most votes. Don’t forget to vote for your favourite photo, and ask family & friends to vote for your photo too!

Contest Instructions

    All you have to do is finish this sentence: I love Kidspot because…"

    Use a black marker to write your response on a piece of A4 white paper.

    Have someone take a photo of your or your kids holding your statement (Make sure it’s close-up enough for us to read).

    Simply upload your photo as your entry to WIN!

KIDSPOT’S FACEBOOK WIN AN iPad COMPETITION
Terms and Conditions

1. Instructions on how to enter form part of these Conditions of Entry. Participation in this Promotion is deemed acceptance of these Conditions of Entry.

2. The competition is open to all residents of Australia that are over the age of 18 years, except employees of the Promoter and members of their immediate families and agencies associated with this promotion.

3. Promotion commences at 7:00am on 5th February 2011 and closes at 11:59am on 4th March 2011 (“Promotional Period”)

4. To enter, entrants must:
a) Write their entry, which is to finish this sentence “I love Kidspot because…” on an A4 piece of white paper.
b) Take a photo of themselves or their children holding the piece of paper. (Please make sure that photo is clear and is readable. You don’t have to show your face, if you don’t like. It just has to be someone holding it).
c) Upload the photo to the competition application.
d) Encourage friends and family to vote for their photo.

5. Limit is one entry per person.

6. Incomplete, illegible and inappropriate entries will be deemed invalid and will not be included in the judging.

7. If the entry is deemed inappropriate or offensive, it will be removed by Kidspot administrators at their discretion.

8. A winner will be selected by the Promoter. Another winner will be selected by number of votes.

9. The winner’s photos may appear on our Facebook page, on Kidspot’s website, in a compilation video featuring a montage of all photos entered in the “I love Kidspot” competition and in our newsletters.

10. Upon completion of the promotion period, a panel of judges appointed by the Promoter will choose an overall winner from the pool of all photos entered over the duration of the competition. Judging will take place on 4th March 2011 at Kidspot, Level 5, 14 Queens Road, Melbourne Victoria 3004. The winners will be notified through email communication on the day of judgment. Each entry will be judged individually despite of votes.

11. The overall winners of the “I love Kidspot” competition will win:

a) One of two iPads (not including a data usage plan)
b) Have their entry photo featured on the Kidspot Facebook page and within Kidspot.
c) Be agreeable to the usage of their photo and details within Kidspot onsite creative, a video compilation of all entered photos, editorial features and email communication.

12. The judges’ decision in relation to all aspects of this promotion is final and binding on all who enter and no correspondence will be entered into.

13. Total prize pool is $1258. The prize is valued in Australian dollars.

14. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner.

15. The Entrant’s entry must be original and must not infringe on any third party’s intellectual property rights. The Promoter reserves the right to seek a declaration from any entrant that their entry complies with this clause.

16. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

17. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition.

18. In the event that for any reason whatsoever a prize winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the prize winner. If the prize is forfeited within twenty four business hours of the notification taking place, a re-judging will occur immediately.

19. Any costs associated with accessing the Kidspot website are the responsibility of the person seeking access and are dependent on the internet service provider used.

20. All entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt by the Promoter, not time of transmission by the entrant. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries.

21. All entries submitted become the property of the Promoter.

22. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter exclude all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; © any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Conditions of Entry; (f) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; (g) the prize and/ or (h) participation in the promotion.

23. Kidspot Australia values its visitors and clients and respects their privacy. We collect client information in an effort to improve your advertising experience and to communicate with you about our products, services, and promotions. We collect visitor email addresses only if voluntarily provided as part of our Kidspot Facebook competition entry process. We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
