And now the end is near and so he faces his final few cases. Yes that’s right we are nearing the end of Tom Barnaby’s tenure in Midsomer with the release this month on DVD of Season 13 Part One which features the first four cases from the season and introduces the character destined to take over from Tom in the process. To celebrate its arrival we have five copies to give away!

Once again Tom and his sidekick Detective Sergeant Ben Jones (Jason Hughes) investigate a series on often gruesome and downright peculier murders from a wild west showdown to a ghostly haunting. One particularly difficult case involving a thousand year old sword sees Tom calling on his cousin D.C.I. John Barnaby (Neil Dudgeon) to help solve the case; A neat way of introducing Tom’s replacement when he retires at the beginning of season two.

This two disc set features the episodes The Made-to-measure Murder, The Sword of Guillame, Blood on the Saddle and The Silent Land. It also includes alternative footage and an image gallery.
