1st of October 2010 and 31st December 2011

The two finalists from each month appear on the home page.

The finals will be held in March 2012. All finalists will be online at the same time for the full month.
 
 

 
 
To enter the competition follow 3 simple steps:

Thirdly, tell us about FOUR of your wedding suppliers.

How is the Bride of the Year Selected?

On the 1st day of each month, all 'complete' entries received in the prior month will be posted on truebride.com.au for the entire month and made available for both members and visitors to view and vote upon. A member or a visitor can vote for their preferred entrants once only, but may vote for more than one entrant.

At the end of each month the two brides with the most votes join our finalists.  Every month we post new entrants online.

The Finals will be held in March 2012. All finalists are posted online for the entire month and the bride who receives the most votes during this month will become our 2011 Bride of the Year!

1. Competition Entry Details.

1. The promoter is True Bride Pty Ltd , ACN 094 501 612 ("Promoter").
2. A member of True Bride must be a fully paid and accepted individual who may use www.truebride.com.au as a resource for planning their wedding and or participating in the various activities within the True Bride website operated by the Promoter ("Member").
3. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of the conditions of entry.
4. Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter and its agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
5. All entrants must be Australian residents. To be eligible to participate in the competition or claim prizes, entrants must be Australian citizens, over the age of 18, Members of True Bride and have married in Australia between 1 October 2010 and 31 December 2011.
6. Entries close midnight 31 January 2012. Entries received post this date will not be accepted.
7. Each month, complete entries received in the prior month will be posted on the True Bride website and made available for both Members and visitors to view and vote upon. A Member or a visitor can vote for their preferred entrants once only, but may vote for more than one entrant.
8. Each month two brides (those with the most votes) will be selected to join the finalists.
9. Finalists will be posted on the website in the month of March 2012. Votes from Members and visitors will be accepted for the Bride of the Year from 1 March, 2012 until 31 March, 2012. The Bride who receives the most votes in this month will be declared Bride of the Year and the winner of the prize.
10. The voter's and thus the Promoter's decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
11. The winner will be notified by e-mail and/or telephone and the name of the winner will be published on the True Bride web site around the end of May 2011 for a minimum of 60 days.
12. The winner has 30 days to accept their prize. Any prizes unclaimed within this time will be forfeited and the prize will be awarded to the bride with the next highest number of votes in the finalist competition.
13. To enter, Members of True Bride (become a member now) must complete all required fields on the official competition entry form on the True Bride website and provide True Bride with a suitable photo(s) to post on site.
14. No responsibility is accepted for incomplete, invalid, misdirected or lost entries, or misdirected or lost mail, or not being able to identify or read the photos (sent) associated with the online entry submitted if the ID number has not been clearly marked.
15. All entries become the property of the Promoter. Any photos received may be published on True Bride's web site and in future publications (pint and/or electronic) and promotions of True Bride. Submission of photos will be deemed to constitute confirmation of the right to publish the photos without further advice. Photos will not be returned.
16. Entrants who advise they own the copyright in the photographs they are submitting are also advising they have the authority to submit the photos, and that they will indemnify the Promoter against any copyright claim by third parties.
17. The conditions of the competition must be read and agreed to by submitting the form via the "accept" button displayed on the entry page. By submitting an entry, the member is acknowledging that the competition is subject to the conditions outlined. Only one entry may be placed per Member. After submitting the entry form, an identification number (id) is issued and must be kept as proof of entry.

2. Prizes

1. The total prize value is $2,000.00.
2. Of this $2,000.00 cash is payable by the Promoter. The cash is payable by cheque made out to the winner of the competition.
5. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable.

3. Internet

1. If for any reason, this competition is not capable of running as planned (including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition), the Promoter has the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition.
2. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion, to disqualify any person who tampers with or does not comply with the entry process.
3. The Promoter does not endorse 'spam mail', defined as electronic junk mail or junk newsgroup postings nor does it endorse unsolicited email to mailing lists, news groups and web forums. Spam mail and unsolicited mail is not in the 'Spirit of the competition' and as such Competition Entrants found guilty of emailing spam or unsolicited emails to a mailing list, newsgroup or web forums may be disqualified from the competition.
4. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of entries. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems, technical malfunction of any telephone network lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or entry to be received by the Promoter, on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this competition.
5. Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or the information on a website, or to otherwise undermine the legitimate operation of this competition, may be in violation of criminal and civil laws and should such attempt be made, whether successful or not, the Promoter reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.
