Become our BFF Competition

INTRODUCTION

1.1    The following terms and conditions apply for Sunburns “Become our BFF” (the

“Promotion”) and by submitting an entry into this Promotion, entrants warrant that they have read, understand and agree to be bound by them.

1.2    All entries must comply with these terms and conditions, which terms and conditions can be also viewed on-line at www.sunburn.com.au (“the Website”).

PROMOTION DURATION

3.1    Entries will be taken from 6.30am (/AEST) on Friday 13 May 2011 until 11.59pm (/AEST) on Sunday 29 May 2011 (the “Promotion Duration”).

WHO MAY ENTER

4.1    Entry is open to Australian and international residents.

4.2    Employees and the immediate families of Sunburn and its related bodies are ineligible to enter. Employees and the immediate families of all associated sponsors and participating Companies are also ineligible to enter.

4.3    Entrants must enter this Promotion in a personal capacity and not on behalf of a business or other enterprise activity.

METHOD OF ENTRY

5.1   To enter the Promotion, an entrant must do one or more of the following and also email their full name, contact phone number and email to competitions@sunburn.com.au

        (a) Become a Fan of ‘Sunburn Swimwear’ on Facebook

        (b) Follow 'Sunburn Swimwear' on Twitter

        (b) Follow the 'Sunburn Swimwear' Blog

        (c) Subscribe to the Sunburn Beach Club

5.2    Incorrect, false, incomplete or incomprehensible entries, at the Promoter’s sole discretion, will not be eligible.

5.3    Should an entrant’s contact details change during the Promotion Duration or prior to the date of the prize being drawn, the entrant must notify the Promoter of the changed details prior to the prize being drawn. A request to view or modify any information provided in an entry may be done by contacting customer service on enquiries@sunburn.com.au.

 

PRIZE(s)

6.1    The prize will be drawn at 9.30am on Monday 30 May 2011 at Sunburn Pty Ltd, 247 King St, Mascot, NSW, 2020

6.2   All prize values are the recommended retail value as provided by the relevant supplier, are in Australian dollars and are correct at the time of printing.

6.2    There is one (1) prize to be won consisting of the following:

PRIZE CONDITIONS

7.1    If the winner does not take any part of the prize in accordance with these terms and conditions, then that part will be forfeited by the winner.  Cash will not be given in lieu of any part of the prize that is forfeited.

7.6   The Promoter’s decision in relation to any issue arising from the Promotion or these Terms and Conditions, including (without limitation) timing of notifications, and eligibility or disqualification of an entrant or winner, is final and no communication will be entered into.

NOTIFICATION

8.1  The Promotion winner will be notified by Phone at the time of winning and then by email if no reply

8.2  The winner’s name will also be published on www.sunburn.com.au and possible the Sunburn Swimwear blog and Sunburn Beachclub E-Newsletter.

8.3   The Promotion winner must claim their prize by Monday 13 June 2011 at 4.00pm AEST. If the prize or any part of it is not claimed by this time, that winner will be deemed to have forfeited the prize and the Promoter will draw another winner at 9.00am AEST on Tuesday 14 June 2011.

PUBLICITY

9.1  It is a condition of entry that the Promoter has the right to publicise the winner’s name and other agreed details for any promotion or matter incidental to the Promotion.

RELEASE AND INDEMNITY

10.1   To the maximum extent permitted by law, all entrants release and indemnify the Promoter from and against all liability, costs, losses or expenses arising out of acceptance or use of any prize(s) or participation in the Promotion, including (but not limited to) arising from the publicity stated above, and including (but not limiting to) to loss of income, loss of opportunity, death, personal injury and/or  damage to property, whether direct, indirect or consequential due to any act, omission, negligence or otherwise, by the Promoter, any supplier of a prize or any person or body whatsoever related to this Promotion.

10.2   The Promoter may vary these Terms and Conditions for any reason, without liability to any entrant or the winner, if the Promoter believes it is necessary to do so.

10.3   The Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook.

FAILURE TO ENFORCE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

11.1     A failure by the Promoter to enforce any one of these terms and conditions in any circumstance will not give rise to any claim or right of action by any other person and will not be considered a waiver of that term or condition.

PERSONAL INFORMATION AND PRIVACY

12.1   The personal information supplied by entrants when entering this Promotion will be used by the Promoter in accordance with these terms and conditions and its Privacy Policy.  Please refer to the Privacy Policy by visiting the Website.  Entrants in this Promotion agree to be bound by that Privacy Policy.           

12.2 The personal information supplied is providing information to the Promoter and not to Facebook.           

 All entrants may have their details removed or altered from the Promoter’s database by contacting customer service on  enquiries@sunburn.com.au. If details are removed prior to the conclusion of the Promotion Duration and/or award of prize(s), entrants will forfeit their right to claim any prize.
