Last Friday's episode of Masterchef saw two lucky contestants flown to Kuala Lumpur to take part in the ultimate Master Class with legendary chef, Rick Stein. If the idea of jetting off to Malaysia to learn how to whip up a genuine curry gets you all hot and spicy, then you're going to love our Delicious Malaysia competition.

Together with our friends at Malaysia Tourism and Malaysia Airlines, travel.com.au is giving you the chance to WIN* a luxury cooking trip for two people to Langkawi, Malaysia. All you need to do is tell us about your favourite Malaysian dish and why you love it, in 25 words or less.

The Promoter is ACN 079 010 772 Limited trading as travel.com.au, Level 10, 17 York Street, Sydney NSW 2000.
Entry into the competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Entry to the competition is free (excluding internet charges) and is only open to entrants who are 18 years or over. Employees (and their immediate families) of Promoter and their related entities are ineligible to enter.
The promotion is open to residents of Australia only.
This is a game of skill. 
One entry per person is permitted. If multiple entries are submitted, only the first entry will be considered valid.
The promotion commences at 9am (AEST) on 14 June 2011 and ends midnight (AEST) 13 July 2011.
To enter the promotion, participants must submit their contact details and tell us about their favourite Malaysian dish and why they love it, in 25 words or less. Entry is via the entry form at www.travel.com.au/deliciousmalaysia.
Entrants and winners in this competition agree that their entry will become the sole copyright of travel.com.au and may be published on the travel.com.au website and on the travel.com.au Facebook page. They also agree that their identity may be disclosed in winner announcements and promotional material.
At the conclusion of the promotion, the entries will be judged on Thursday 14 July 2011 at Level 10, 17 York Street, Sydney NSW 2000 and the entry that is deemed to be the best, as judged by the Promoter in its sole discretion, will win the major Prize - a trip for two (2) adults to Langkawi, Malaysia including;
Return economy flights to Langkawi, Malaysia with Malaysia Airlines ex Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide or Perth including taxes
3 night’s accommodation at The Datai Langkawi
A Pavilion Cooking Class with an expert Chef
 
The maximum total value of the Prize pool is up to AU$5,300.
Additional costs incurred by the winners, other than those that form part of the prize, are the responsibility of the winners including (but not limited to) travel insurance, passports, visas, excess baggage charges, transfers to and from departure point, meals, beverages and incidental charges (e.g. room service, internet usage)
The Prize will be arranged by the Promoter and must be booked through the Promoters Travel Experts’ team.
The major prize winner will be notified at 12:00pm (AEST) Monday 18 July 2011 of the judge’s decision via email.  The winners’ details will be published at www.travel.com.au.
Should the prize remain unclaimed by midnight 18 October 2011, the story that is judged second best by the Promoter will be deemed the winner at 9am AEST on 19 October 2011 at Level 10, 17 York Street, Sydney NSW 2000 should any winner of the main draw be uncontactable.
The Prize is valid for travel 01 Jul ’11 - 01 March ‘12. Prize travel is not permitted in peak periods or AU public holidays i.e. School Holidays, Chinese New Year, Hari Raya or December 2011/January 2012. Prize is subject to availability at the time of booking. Further blackout dates may apply. Should any component of the prize be unavailable on the dates proposed by the winner, the Promoter will consult with the winner to determine alternative dates on which the prize will be booked.
Reservations must be made a minimum four weeks prior to departure.
Specific conditions pertaining to Malaysia Airlines flights are:
Limited seats available and may not be available on every day/flight throughout the travel period.
Enrich Frequent Flyer miles are not applicable, baggage allowance is 20kg per person.
The company’s condition of carriage as recited on its ticket applies. Requests for upgrades will not be entertained.
Cancelled tickets will incur an AUD75 cancellation fee per passenger.
Once tickets have been issued, no changes, cancellations, or modifications are permitted.
Passengers must travel together though out the entire journey.
Please ensure that your passport has a minimum validity of six months before travelling.
Once the Prize has been arranged by the Promoter, any changes to the travel, accommodation or scheduling arrangements are at the expense of the winner.
The Prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, non-exchangeable, non-replaceable and non-redeemable for cash. Prize must be taken as offered. No modifications or exchanges will be possible.
The Promoter expressly reserves the right to resolve any discrepancies, disputes or otherwise unforeseen circumstances as it deems fit and the Promoter's decision will be final and binding upon every person who enters. No correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter expressly reserves the right to change or alter these Terms and Conditions at any time.
Entrants warrant and guarantee to the Promoter that their entry and any other content provided to the Promoter are their own original work and entrants indemnify the promoter against any third party claims against the Promoter, arising from its publication of such content.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, misdirected or illegible submissions.
The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever that is suffered by any entrant or winner (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), or for any personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of taking any prize, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
The Promoter shall not be responsible for any entries that are not received or are otherwise interfered with due to problems with the internet or telecommunications services.
If this promotion is not capable of running as planned due to any reason, including unauthorised intervention, fraud, or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to any applicable law) in its sole discretion to cancel the competition or to disqualify any individual who has tampered with the entry process.
