Pittwater Council Dog of the Year 2011
The annual Pittwater Council Dog of the year competition is now open to Pittwater residents.  Submit a photo of your dog to be in the chance to win some great prizes.

The winning dog will be announced at Dog Day by the Bay on Sunday 25 September 2011.

The competition opens Tuesday 14 June and closes 5pm Friday 2 September 2011.  Winners will be contacted prior to Dog Day by the Bay 2011.

Please ensure that you have read the Terms and Conditions of the Dog Day by the Bay photo competition before you submit your entry.

Dog Day by the Bay important information

Photo Competition Terms and Conditions
By entering this competition you agree to the terms and conditions below.

1.  This competition is being run by the Education Team, Pittwater Council, PO Box 882, Mona Vale, NSW, 1660.

2.   Entry is open to Pittwater Local Government (LGA) residents only, employees of Pittwater Council and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter the    competition.

3.   All dogs submitted to the competition must be registered to a Pittwater LGA address, be micro-chipped and registed on the NSW Companion Animal Register.

4.   Photos must be submitted and be received between 9am Tuesday 14 June 2011 and 5pm Friday 2 September 2011.

5.   Only one entry per dog will be accepted in the competiton.  Multiple entries will not be accepted.  In the case of more than one entry being received, the first photo submitted will be entered in the competition.

6.   Photos must be taken by residents of the Pittwater LGA and must not be assoicated with, or photographed by event partners, sponsors, and persons or partners assoicated with the running of the event.

7.   Photos taken by professional photographers are not permitted to be entered in the competition.

8.   Photos must be submitted to Pittwater Council using the on-line entry form.

9.   All intellectual property rights of all entries will vest with Pittwater Council.  By entering this competition you authorise Pittwater Council to use any photo you submit for any purpose.

10.   Pittwater Council has the right to refuse any photo, for any reason.

11.   Judges decision is final and no corespondance will be entered into it.

12.  Entrants must include their full name, address, email and telephone number on the entry form.  Incomplete entries will be deemed invalid and will not be entered to the competition.

13.  Photos must be in JPEG format and submitted electronically.  Photos must be standard size (4x6) and minimum 300dpi.

14.  The entrant must ensure that nothing in the photograph or accompanying description infringes on the intellectual property rights of any other person or entity.

15.  Pittwater Council will not be held liablefor any lost entries.
