Title: Win a Botanica print scarf - FourThousand - Qld
Post by: culturebird on Thursday 11 August 2011, 07:06:09 pm
Secret Squirrel have got a rather good-looking new collection on their hands. Designers Bri Cheeseman and Andrew Prince have drawn on the browns, pinks and greens of English gardens for SS11's 'Botanica', with a huge emphasis on silk - a nod to the texture of flower petals. They've also called in the exquisite design talents of jewellery messiah Elke Kramer, who created two prints 'speshly for the Squirrels.

A message to the boys: once this collection hits the shelves, you will have to keep your wits about you, all the pretty girls you know will be looking even prettier wearing Secret Squirrel dresses covered in beautifully detailed prints of pressed flowers unearthed from the pages of vintage gardening encyclopaedias. When they're not wearing the dresses they'll be breezing by in silky soft, cinnamon trenches and every time they stand, the trench will slip to the side a little to reveal the dazzling, marbled colour abstractions on their tiny shorts. And when they're not wearing the dresses or the trenches, they'll be wearing sage-coloured, see-through tops. Wowzers!

Secret Squirrel's 'Botanica' collection is in store now at We Live Like This. Or you can purchase 'Botanica' pieces online at the Secret Squirrel website from mid-August. We have a Secret Squirrel scarf in Botanica print to give away! To enter, just answer the following question.
