"LENOVO AIRPORT ACTIVATION" PROMOTION
TERMS AND CONDITIONS

    Information on how to enter and the prize(s) form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
    Entry is only open to Australian and New Zealand residents aged 18 years or over. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
    Promotion commences 6/7/11 and closes 7pm AEDST 23/12/11 ("Promotional Period").

    To enter, individuals must, during the Promotional Period, visit the Lenovo airport activation any participating Australian airport, then using the promotional laptop or smart device available at the stand, visit the website www.domachine.com.au and
    www.domachine.co.nz and enter their full name, email address and select the opt in box to receive an entry. Alternatively, individuals can directly visit www.domachine.com.au and www.domachine.co.nz and complete the online entry form during the Promotional Period to enter the draw.
    The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant's identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
    Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
    Only one (1) entry permitted per person.

    There will be one (1) draw conducted every week day of the Promotional Period. Entries received prior to 9am each day will be entered into the next available draw, to take place the following business day. Entries received on weekends will be entered into the next available draw the following business day. Draws will take place every week day (excluding NSW public holidays, in which case the draw will take place the following business day) from 7/7/11 to 28/12/11 at Lenovo Australia 1-5 Railway St, Chatswood NSW 2067 at 12pm AEST/AEDST (as applicable). For the avoidance of doubt the final draw for entries received on 23/12/11 will take place on 28/12/11. Non-winning entries in each draw will be entered into subsequent draws. Winners will be notified in writing within two (2) business days of the draw. New South Wales winners' will be published online at www.domachine.com.au and
    www.domachine.co.nz within fourteen (14) days of each draw. All winners from the Australian Capital Territory, Victoria and South Australia will be published in The Australian on 11/1/12.The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
    The first valid entry drawn in each draw for the month of July (18 prizes in total) will win a G570 Notebook valued at $999.00. The first valid entry drawn in each draw for the remainder of the Promotional Period will win a Lenovo Tablet- IDEA PAD: PAD K1, android tablet (104 prizes) valued at $510.00.
    Total prize pool value is $71,022.00
    Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise specified.
    A draw for any unclaimed prizes may take place on 28/3/12 at the same time and place as the original draw, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. Winners, if any will be notified in writing within two (2) business days of the draw and their names will be published in The Australian on 11/4/12.
    Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
    If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
    Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant's responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.
    Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the State and Territories of Australia and in New Zealand ("Non-Excludable Guarantees"). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion.

Entry is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. I'm having trouble with this page.  Maybe it's Internet Express, but the entry form to this isn't accessible at present. :?

Just entered it through safari and didn't have a problem - think it needed to remind me to confirm location as vic though - might be worth having a quick check that all the boxes are filled.

I can't even scroll down to any boxes!  I click on the computer's screen to 'enter', and the pop-up screen appears with the latest winners, but I can't go down far enough to find the entry form!  I decreased resolution to 50% and still can't get down far enough.  I have this problem sometimes, along with other Internet Explorer users, when other compers using a different browser can get through fine... It could be an Internet Explorer problem, I think... :?

All I get is a blank black screen.  Tried several times yesterday& today with IE  & Firefox.

Is it worth you trying to clear cookies?  I can enter it through both firefox and safari so it sounds more like it's a computer glitch.  Good luck.

Went through Google Chrome and it came up ok

I finally managed to get through!  Had to play around with the resolution of the screen, though, and click on things I couldn't really see!  What a pain this one was!  I'd better win!!! :D

Yes I finally did too. My laptop would allow it but the main pc did. :)

That's right. It says in the terms that each entry will be entered automatically into subsequent draws. So you only need to enter once.

Just an FYI, the prize for this is now unofficially a G570. I have clarified with Lenovo's marketing representative who said:

"Yes, we had planned to provide the K1 tablet as a prize however we have had a stock shortage & have decided to supply the higher value G570 notebook."

Correction, the prize delivered was the entry-level budget model 43345KM (Intel B940 dual core 2.0Ghz, 2Gb Ram, 500GB HDD.)

Unfortunately looks like they're dumping slow-moving stock rather than providing the tablets  :(.... unfortunately not an upgrade from my rapidly aging 2006 Macbook but its hard to complain about free stuff. May get lucky and get a couple hundred for it on ebay.

Would still have loved a tablet though. Back to entering iPad competitions. :lol:

They have finally updated their terms and conditions, making it official:

NB: Please note that due to circumstances beyond our control, the "Lenovo Tablet-IDEA PAD: PAD K1, android tablet" prize referred to in the Terms and Conditions below is unavailable. In accordance with Clause 13, all winners will now receive a G570 Notebook valued at $669 RRP inc GST.

I ALSO HAVE BEEN ENTERING DAILY, AND I OBVIOUSLY HAVE NOT BEEN TURFED OUT, as I won one ~Even though it is not as great as the prize it is made out to be!

Received Laptop today G570 not bad.....Hubby building it up so I can transfer from this Toshiba one.

Oh no, I've been entering it a few times a week AND I haven't been to the airport activation booth...how does it know if you have done that or not!?  Confused! :(

Not sure what the "airport activation booth" is but I just filled in the form and was fortunate enough to win one.
