Leader 2011 Reader Survey

HELP us improve your favourite Leader newspaper and you could win $1000.

You are invited to take part in our 2011 Reader Survey.

Your opinions are valuable to us because it helps us understand what is most important to you as a reader, including when, why and how you read your local newspaper.

The survey should only take about 20 minutes to complete. All responses are completely confidential.

To enter into the draw for the chance to win $1000, you must complete the survey before 5pm on Friday, September 30.

Terms and ConditionsTerms & Conditions – Leader 2011 Reader Survey Promotion

1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these terms and conditions of entry.

2. The Promoter is Leader Associated Newspapers Pty Ltd, 1-7 Chapel Street Blackburn Vic 3130. ABN: 34 004 337 446.

3. The promotion is known as the “Leader 2011 Reader Survey” promotion.

4. Entry is available to people aged 18+ living in Victoria who meet the screening criteria. Employees of the Promoter or its associated companies, employees of any agencies, affiliates, sponsors, sub-sponsors or representatives of the Promoter and the immediate families of any such employees are not eligible to enter.

5. Leader Newspapers’ privacy policy is available by visiting www.leadernews.com.au and following the relevant links.

6. Promotion commences at 6am AEST on Monday 12 September 2011 and finishes at 5pm AEST on Friday 30 September 2011 (“promotion period”).

7. To enter, entrants must first complete the Leader 2011 Reader Survey online. Only one completed survey permitted per person. Upon completing the survey, each person will be prompted to opt in to the promotion and provide their name, address, contact phone number and email address. Entry into the promotion is optional.

8. The promotion is one of a game of chance. All valid entries will form part of a random draw.

9. The first valid entry drawn will win $AUD1000 in cash.

10. Total prize pool value is $AUD1000.

11. The prize draw will be held at 4pm on Wednesday 5 October 2011 at the office of Leader Associated Newspapers Pty Ltd, 1-7 Chapel Street Blackburn Vic 3130.

12. The winner will be contacted by telephone or in writing within 7 days of the draw.

13. Leader Newspapers reserves the right to disqualify any person who tampers with the entry process, or who enters more than once.

14. Leader Newspapers is not responsible for any technical malfunctions or problems with internet or network congestion, including injury or damage to the participant’s or any other person’s computer which may affect participation in this promotion or transmission of entries over the internet.

15. The Promoter does not accept responsibility for late, lost, misdirected entries or entries sent but not received by Leader. The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Entry details remain the property of the Promoter.

16. Prizes are non-transferable and must be taken as offered. No responsibility is taken for the winner’s loss of the prize.

17. The Promoter and companies associated with this promotion shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of taking the prize.

18. The Promoter and companies associated with this promotion shall not be liable for any additional costs involved as a result of taking the prize.

19. In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster the Promoter reserves the right (subject to all relevant state and territory regulations) to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion.

20. The personal information supplied to Leader Newspapers is for the purpose of entering this competition only and may not be used by us or any of our Australian related companies for future marketing and publicity purposes. This personal information may be disclosed to third parties to determine whether an entrant has breached the terms and conditions. By entering this promotion, you consent to us so using and disclosing your personal information for these purposes.
