THE BILL SERIES FOUR 1988 DVD GIVEAWAY

The Bill Series 4 DVD Cover Shock DVD | Region: 4 | Release Date: September 2011

The Bill might have gone to that great TV show heaven in the sky but it’s episodes live on forever and now Shock DVD are taking us right back to the very beginnings of the show by releasing very cool box sets of the early years of the show. This month sees the arrival of season four and to celebrate we have five copies of the 7 disc set to give away!

The great thing about these early years sets is the chance to catch up with all the great original characters such as Tony Scannell as DS Ted Roach (very much the smoothie of the series), the brilliant Christopher Ellison as DI Frank Burnside, a character so popular that he even got his own spin off series. As well as the likes of long running favourites Sgt Cryer (Eric Richard) and WPC June Ackland (Trudie Goodwin).

This fourth series covers the year 1988 and as always follows incidents in the working lives of the coppers and detectives on London’s East End suburb of Sun Hill. For years and years The Bill scored so strongly because it never allowed the coppers personal lives to interfere with the dynamic of the show – it was always about the job! Superb stuff.

Our competition runs until September 30, 2011. To be in with a chance to win one of 5 DVD’s of The Bill Series Four all you have to do is tell us what date the very first episode of The Bill was broadcast? Also don’t forget about our rather splendid daily newsletter. If you haven’t signed up for this yet then what are you waiting for, a daily hit of all the latest stories, comps, reviews, features and news happening in the world of Memorable TV.

Entries must be sent to competition@memorabletv.com and must be titled “The Bill”. Good Luck!
