By entering the WIN $10,000 in James Street Vouchers, Promotion “Promotion”, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:

1.STANDARD TERMS
1.1Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry. Any entry not complying with the terms and conditions will be considered invalid.
2.WHO CAN ENTER?
2.1Subject to clause 2.2, entry is open only to residents of Queensland 18 years and older. Must be able to show upon request proof of residency e.g. Drivers Licence.
2.2Employees of News Queensland and their immediate families, and James Street Initiative and their associated agencies and companies are not eligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether by natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or first cousin.

3. HOW TO ENTER

3.1The competition commences on Saturday 29 October, 2011 at 11.59 pm (AEST) and concludes on Sunday 6 November, 2011 at 11.59pm (AEST) (“the Competition Period”).

3.2In order to enter the competition entrants must go to www.uonsunday.com.au/competitions and complete the online entry form including the entrant’s full name and address, postcode, day contact number, email and answer the provided question/s.

3.3 Entrants may only enter in the competition once with a valid email address

3.4Phone and email entries are invalid and will not be accepted.
3.5The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and reserves the right to disqualify an entrant for tampering with the entry process or for submitting an entry which is not in accordance with the terms and conditions.
3.6The Promoter may also share entrant information, including name and contact details, with other persons or entities that assist in running the promotion or with other companies who provide prizes for the promotion. This is to allow those companies or entities to make contact with entrants.

TOTAL PRIZE POOL VALUE $10,029. (incl. GST) The Prize value is correct at the time of printing.
4.1Each voucher is considered an individual prize element which makes up the total prize pool value. The prize elements cannot be used in conjunction with any other at the participating stores.
4.2The prize elements may have individual conditions relating specifically to the participating stores and may include individual expiry dates. The winner must adhere to these individual conditions and expiry details which will be outlined on the individual vouchers.
4.3If for any reason the winner does not take the prize or any element of the prize within the time stipulated by the promoter or on the individual vouchers, then the prize or any element of the prize will not be redeemable for cash and will be forfeited.
4.4The prize cannot be redeemable for cash and is non transferable or exchangeable to another person.
4.5All expenses including additional spending money, flights, meals, travel to and from James Street, Brisbane and the participating stores to redeem the prize are at the cost and responsibility of the winner.
4.6In the event of that any prize item is unavailable; the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize item of equal or greater value. Any taxes (other than GST, if any) which may be payable as a consequence of a winner receiving the prize are the sole responsibility of the winners.
4.7In participating in the promotion, the winner agree to participate and cooperate as required in all editorial activities relating to the promotion, including but not limited to being interviewed and photographed. The winner grants the promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use such footage and photographs in all media worldwide and the winner will not be entitled to any fee for such use.


5.HOW TO WIN
5.1Each entrant who has entered the competition during the Competition Period and registered all details in accordance with clause 3 will be entered into the prize draw. The draw will take place at News Queensland, Cnr Mayne Road and Campbell Street, Bowen Hills Qld 4001 at 10:00am on Monday 7 November, 2011.
5.2The winner may be announced in U on Sunday publication (subject to the Editor’s decision). The prize winner will be notified by phone and issued a prize letter via mail within three days of the draw.
5.3The Promoter’s decision is final and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the result.
5.4The Promoter reserves the right to redraw in the event of any entrant not claiming the prize. If the prize remains unclaimed or forfeited through ineligibility or otherwise, the Promoter will conduct further draws, as required, at the same time and place. The prize winner will be notified by phone and issued a prize letter via mail within three days of the draw.
6.CONTRIBUTING CONTENT

6.1When you submit content to NQ in any format, including any text, photographs, graphics, video or audio, you grant NQ a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence to publish that content.

6.2You agree that NQ can use that content in any way, now and in the future. NQ also reserves the right not to use the content you submit.

6.3You warrant that you have all of the necessary rights, including copyright, in the content you contribute, that your content is not defamatory and that it does not infringe any law.

6.4You indemnify NQ against any and all legal fees, damages and other expenses that may be incurred by NQ as a result of a breach of the above warranty.

6.5You waive any moral rights in your contribution for the purposes of its submission to and publication on the Site.

7.NO LIABILITY
7.1In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions, subject to State Legislation.
7.2News Queensland and James Street Initiative and their associated agencies and companies will take no responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit, or late, lost or misdirected mail.
7.3News Queensland and James Street Initiative and their associated agencies and companies will not be liable to any entrant, winner or any other person for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss (including but not limited to consequential loss) or claim that may occur during the competition period, the draw and/or the redemption of prize elements;
7.1.1whilst undertaking any travel connected with entry into the draw;
7.1.2in the participation in any prize redemption;
7.1.3as a consequence of late, lost or misdirected mail;
7.1.4due to the broadcast of any program relating to the competition or the publication of any material, including any statements made by any compere, staff member, journalist, other entrants or any other person;
7.1.5in relation to failure of an email entry message to be received by the promoter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion;
7.1.6arising from or related to any problem or technical malfunction of any internet network or communications network related to or resulting from participation in this promotion; or
7.1.7due to circumstances outside the Promoter’s reasonable control.
7.4News Queensland and James Street Initiative and its affiliates assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission; communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of, entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available.
7.5If, for any reason, this competition is not capable of being conducted as planned, including, but not limited, due to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, subject to State Legislation.
