Share your birthday cake photo and win

WE’RE on the hunt for Melbourne’s best children’s party cake.

Coming up with new cake decorating ideas can be a challenge, so we’ll help inspire you by showcasing photos of creative cakes by Melbourne parents.

Special guest judge Kim Coverdale, food editor of Super Food Ideas, Australia’s best-selling food magazine, will pick a winner to take home toys valued at $850.

This package features Mattel Toy Lab’s top 12 toys for Christmas and includes a great range including a Hot Wheels Wall Tracks Starter Set, Dora Magic Fairy Doll, Little People Zoo Talkers, Sing-a-ma-jigs Duets and more.

Plus there will be two $250 Mattel packs up for grabs -  for the people’s choice award and an entry chosen at random.

The competition is open until 11.59pm, Sunday, November 6. Winners will be announced on Monday, November 14. Prizes must be collected from Leader’s Blackburn office.

One entry allowed per person. Leader Community Newspapers reserves the right to invalidate all multiple entries submitted by one person.

The competition opens 7am on October 24 and closes at 11.59pm on November 6, 2012.

All cakes submitted must be the entrant’s own work. Store purchased cakes are ineligible.

One entry allowed per person. Entrants must be aged 18 or over. Leader Community Newspapers reserves the right to invalidate all multiple entries submitted by one person.

Entries must include the entrant’s full name, email address, postal address and daytime phone number to be valid.

Winners will be announced on Monday, November 14. Prizes must be collected from Leader’s Blackburn office.

Leader Newspapers reserves the right to disqualify any person who tampers with the entry process.

Leader Newspapers is not responsible for any technical malfunctions or problems with internet or network congestion, including injury or damage to the participant’s or any other person’s computer which may affect participation in this promotion or transmission of entries over the internet.
