Complete and submit the entry form online and tell us in 25 words or less “Who is your favourite Crownies cast member and why?”
 

Please keep your proof of purchase as it will be used to verify your entry.
 

You may enter as many times as you like however a separate proof of purchase is required for each entry.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The Crownies DVD Promotion (“the Competition”) is provided by Roadshow Entertainment, a division of Roadshow Films Pty Ltd ABN 28 100 746 870 of Level 4, The Village Roadshow Centre, 235 Pyrmont Street, Pyrmont, NSW  2009 (“the Promoter”).  These terms and conditions (including without limitation the information on how to enter and prize details which we publish in relation to the Competition) apply to the Competition.

By entering the Competition, you acknowledge that you have read and understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Entering the competition
1.To be eligible to enter the Competition, you must be a permanent resident of Australia and over 18 years of age.  Employees (and immediate family members) of the Promoter and of associated agencies are ineligible to enter the competition. Participants who are under the age of 18 must seek permission from their parent or guardian.
2.The Competition runs from 6 October at 12:01am (AEDST) to 30 December at 11.59pm AEDST (“Promotional Period”). 
3.To enter the competition you must purchase a copy of CROWNIES: SERIES 1 PART 1 on DVD (release date: 6 October 2011) or CROWNIES: SERIES 1 PART 2 on DVD (release date: 1 December 2011) or CROWNIES SERIES 1 on BLU RAY (release date: 15 December 2011) at ABC Shops, ABC Centres or online at abcshop.com.au only, visit abcshop.com.au, fully complete and submit the entry form online and tell us in 25 words or less “Who is your favourite Crownies cast member and why?” during the promotional period.  All valid entries will be entered into promotion.
4.Multiple entries are permitted however must be submitted as a separate entry and separate proof of purchase.
5.Any form of automated entry using any other devices or software will be deemed to be invalid. We reserve the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these conditions.
6.Proof of purchase is required for all entries.
7.The major prize winners based on originality and creativity will receive:

8.If the prize or any part of the prize provided by the Promoter cannot, in the opinion of the Promoter, be provided for any reason, the Promoter reserves the right to provide an alternative prize or part of a prize to the same value as that part of the prize being replaced.
9.This competition is a game of skill.  Chance plays no part in determining the winners.  All entries will be judged individually on their merits based on originality and creativity.  The best entry as determined by the judges, will win a prize.
10.The winner will be judged at the promoter’s premises on 10 January 2012 from 11:30 am. The judges’ decision is final and binding - no correspondence will be entered into.  The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries or other communications. 
11.The promoter will contact the prize winner via email by 14 January 2012 to confirm their address details and how to collect/redeem their prize. 
12.The winner’s details will be published on the website abcshop.com.au within five business days of judging.
13. All entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the competition’s database and NOT at the time of transmission by the entrant. The Promoter is not responsible for any time lag in an entry being received into the competition’s database.
14.Prizes are not transferable and are not redeemable for cash. The Promoter’s decision is final and binding - no correspondence will be entered into. 
Disclaimers
15.We are not responsible for lost, late, incomprehensible or incorrect entries in the competition. We accept no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from prize winnings in the competition.  You should seek Independent financial advice about such matters.
16.Promoter is not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including without limitation direct, indirect and consequential loss and damages) or for personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of entering or trying to enter the competition or accepting any prize offered as part of the competition, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law
17.In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency, disaster or (without limitation) any other event outside our reasonable control, we are entitled to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition - subject to any written directions from the various regulatory bodies responsible for supervising the conduct of the competition.
18.If for any reason the competition is not capable of running as planned (including but not limited to) technical failures, unauthorised intervention, fraud or any other causes beyond our control which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter is entitled in our sole discretion (subject to any written directions given by the gaming authorities), to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition.
Exclusions and our liability
19.The law implies various conditions and warranties which might apply to us supplying goods or services to you.  We exclude all of those conditions and warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law, including without limitation implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
20.Provisions of the Trade Practices Act 1974 and other statutes in some cases either cannot be excluded, restricted or modified; or can only be restricted or modified to a limited extent. If any of those provisions apply, then to the extent permitted our liability under those provisions is limited as set out below. Our liability in relation to goods we supply is limited at our option to: a) replacement of the goods or the supply of equivalent goods; or b) repair of the goods; or c) payment of the cost of replacing the goods or of acquiring equivalent goods; or d) payment of the cost of having the goods repaired; and our liability in relation to services we supply, is limited at our option to: a) the supplying of the services against; or b) the payment of the cost of having the services supplied again.
Virus Warning
21.In entering the competition, you assume the risks and responsibility for any loss, damage or consequence resulting directly or indirectly from viruses, damage or other defects. 
Termination
22.We may terminate or cancel your entry in the competition immediately at our discretion or if you breach any of your obligations under these conditions.
Your personal information
23. As a result of you entering the competition, we will collect certain personal information about you, such as your name, email address and phone number. If you are a prize winner, we may share your personal information with a third party for the purpose of organising delivery of your prize.
The details contained in your entry are protected by security safeguards as detailed in the Privacy Policy The personal information collected as part of the entry is collected to enable identification of the winner]. Your personal information will only be used and disclosed to any third party for these purposes. You can contact our Privacy Officer if you would like details of the personal information that the Promoter may hold about you or if you would like it to be corrected. You indemnify us
24.You release and agree to keep us indemnified from any claim, cost, demand, tax, liability or damage (including legal costs on a full indemnity basis) suffered or incurred by us, our directors, employees, agents and representatives arising out of your entry in the competition or any claim by a third party arising from an act or omission by you.
Failure to comply and severability
25.We are not liable for any failure to comply with these conditions. If any part or provision in these conditions is found to be invalid, unenforceable or illegal for any reason, that part or provision shall be severed and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force.
Entire agreement and governing law
26.These conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and us as to its subject matter. By entering the competition, you accept that this agreement is to be interpreted, and any disputes are to be determined by the courts having jurisdiction in New South Wales, in accordance with the laws in force in New South Wales from time to time.
