Terms & Conditions - Competition - Win $10,000 Cash

1. This promotion commences 10.00am November 1 2011 until 11.59pm January 15 2012 on www.yourlifechoices.com.au, www.facebook.com/yourlifechoices and through associated enewsletters.

2. The total maximum prize pool value is $10,000.

3. The Promoter is YOURLifeChoices, Indigo Arch Pty Ltd, ABN: 89 774 502 968 PO Box 1150N, Armadale, VIC Australia 3143.

4. To enter, you must  invite at least one friend or relative to enter the Competition. To invite friends or relatives, Entrants must submit their friends’ or relatives’ names and current and valid email addresses (and any other information requested by the Promoter) in the manner required and where indicated on the online entry form. You must make sure you have consent of your friends to send the referral email. For each friend/relative they invite the Entrant will gain one (1) additional entry into the Competition, up to a maximum of 5 (five) additional entries. The operation of the referral mechanic referred to above is subject to the Spam Act 2003. An Entrant may refer a particular friend or relative only once during the Promotional Period and
Entrants who have already entered the Competition cannot be referred as friends or relatives by a subsequent Entrant. Each Entrant’s relative or friend nominated must be an Australian resident and be aged 50 years or older. Each Entrant warrants that any and each friend or relative that they nominate is known to them personally and that they have consented to receiving commercial electronic messages.

5. This is a game of skill. The winner is also required to answer a specific question – In 25 words or less, tell us the reason why having sufficient insurance cover means you can feel more financially secure - as well as recommend a friend to our website. The best answer to the question will be chosen as the winner by a judging panel including representatives of YOURLifeChoices website and Apia.

6. For each friend or relative invited (up to a maximum of five as per clause 4) the winner is required to enter a new 25-word reason why having sufficient insurance cover means you can feel more financially secure.

7. The cheque for the $10,000 prize money will be given to the winner at their nearest Apia branch. It is the responsibility of the winner to cover their own transport to the nearest Apia branch (see list here).

8. The prize winner will be contacted by the Promoter via email and phone in the week commencing Monday January 16 2012 to the email address provided in the entry.

9. Three (3) attempts over a 2 week period will be made to contact the prize winner. If the prize remains unclaimed after 14 days, the judging panel will choose a secondary prize winner on 30 January 2012.

10. Judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter, in its absolute discretion, reserves the right to verify the validity of all entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process.

11. You must include your name, email, phone and state to enter the competition. Your phone number will only be used in the event of you winning the prize. Entering the competition also adds your details to the YOURLifeChoices.com.au subscriber list and you will receive regular eNewsletters, offers and promotions from YOURLifeChoices.

12. In accepting the major prize the winner agrees to participate in and co-operate with all reasonable media editorial requests, including but not limited to, being interviewed and photographed.
Winners grant the Promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use such footage and photographs in all media worldwide and the winners will not be entitled to any fee for such use.

13. The major prize winner agrees they will not sell or otherwise provide their story and/or photographs to any media or other organisation.

14. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the major prize winners must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and Prize Supplier’s requirements.

15. The major prize winner must be 50 years of age or older and must provide valid identification to the Promoter.

16. Compliance with any other government requirements is the responsibility of the major prize winner.

17. Independent financial advice should be sought as tax implications may arise as a result of accepting the prize.

18. To enter this competition you must be a resident of Australia.
