Co-op Christmas Competition Terms & Conditions of Entry
1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry.
2. Entry into the Co-op Christmas Competition Promotion is deemed to be an acceptance of these Conditions of Entry.
3. Co-op Christmas Competition commences 5 November 2011 at 12:01am AEST and entries close at 11:59pm AEST on 11 December 2011 (Promotion Period). Winner announced 13 December 2011. Eligible at the Co-op Online - www.coop-bookshop.com.au.
4. Entry is only open to Co-op Bookshop Members living in Australia. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, or agencies or companies associated with the conduct of this Promotion, are ineligible to enter.
5. For a chance to win Co-op Christmas Competition Promotion follow these steps:
i. Be a member of the Co-op Bookshop;
ii. Sign In to the Co-op Online and Update your Membership details, including email address and select YES, sign me up in answer to Would you like to receive regular emails?. Click the Update My Details button.
6. One entry per Member.
7. This is a game of chance and skill plays no part in determining the winner. Prize draw will take place 2pm 13 December 2011 at the Co-op Bookshop Support Office at Level 10, 235 Jones St, Ultimo 2007.
8. The winner will need to produce their Co-op Membership card and Photo ID to claim prize. The winner will have 3 months from the draw date to claim their prize.
9. The first five (5) correctly drawn entries will win one of five (5) $250 RRP Book Packs. Total Prize Pool value $1,250.
10. The prize cannot be transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash. The Promoter retains the right to substitute the prize with a prize of equal or greater value (including where the prize is unavailable), subject to approval of the gaming authorities in each State and Territory where relevant.
11. The winner will be notified in writing by email. The winner’s name will be on display online (www.coop-bookshop.com.au) 5:00pm AEST on the Monday after the judging date.
12. Should prizes not be claimed a redraw will take place. The first correctly drawn winner(s) in this redraw will win the unclaimed prize(s).The redraw will take place 19 March 2012 at the Co-op Bookshop Support Office at Level 10, 235 Jones St, Ultimo 2007.
13. The redraw winner will be notified in writing by email. The redraw winner’s name will be on display online (www.coop-bookshop.com.au) 5:00pm AEST on the Monday after the redraw date.
14. The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into, including in the event of a dispute. The prize must be taken as offered and cannot be varied.
15. The Promoter reserves the right to validate and check the authenticity entries, and to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process, or who submit an entry that is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry. Any entry made with stolen, forged, mutilated, unrecognised or tampered with receipts will be deemed void.
16. The Promoter and its associated agencies or companies accept no responsibility for lost, late, stolen, damaged or misdirected entries.
17. If for any reason this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, the Promoter reserves the right in its discretion to modify the terms of the Promotion including the prizes and these Conditions of Entry, subject to approval of the gaming authorities in each State and Territory where relevant.
18. Any tax liability arising as a result of accepting any prize is the responsibility of the winner.
19. The Promoter has no control over internet or mobile telephone communications, networks, bugs, viruses, server problems or lines and accepts no responsibility for any problems associated with them, for whatever reason.
20. The Promoter will not be liable for any injury, loss or damage of any nature whatsoever (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) that is suffered or sustained as a result of or in connection with receiving, taking or using any prize except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
21. All claims and entries become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter requires your personal information in order to conduct the Promotion. If you do not provide the mandatory personal information requested then you will not be able to take part in the Promotion. By entering this Promotion, each entrant is taken to consent to the Promoter using the entrant’s personal information to administer the Promotion, announce the winner and disclosing the entrant’s personal information to organisations that assist the Promoter with administering the Promotion and announcing the winner, and to third parties as required by law (including authorities that regulate this Promotion). The Promoter is bound by the National Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and by entering the Promotion, the entrant is taken to consent to the Promoter’s privacy policy (which is available on request). By entering into this Promotion, each entrant also consents to the Promoter using their personal information for future marketing purposes, unless otherwise advised by the entrant. An entrant may access and correct any personal information held by the Promoter, upon request to the Promoter.
