Capture Tennis Essence on film to win $5000 Entries are now open for the Australian Open short film festival, Changing Ends. Budding filmmaker have until 9 December 2011 to submit a 90 second short film on the theme 'Tennis Essence' to be in the running for the $5000 first prize and T-Oscar. The best entries will be shown on the giant screens during the Australian Open 2012 and the winner will be decided by a judging panel of four, including Australian Open Tournament Director Craig Tiley, film industry expert and a 2012 Australian Open player. Entry for Changing Ends is free and entry forms and terms and conditions can be found at: http://www.changingends.com.au Stir it up, distil it and deliver a 90-second film with the theme Tennis Essence. The Best Short Film wins AUD$5000. Five AUD$500 cash prizes for selected finalists. Entries open 29 August–9 December 2011. Winners and runners up will be contacted by phone and letter. They will be publicly announced on the Australian Open website and this website on Saturday 22 January 2012, and published in the Herald Sun newspaper by Monday 30 January 2012. |
