Deep Purple Double DVD giveaway

Touted as the forefathers of heavy rock, Deep Purple have shaped many an adolescence with records like In Rock, Machine Head and Fireball.
 
To celebrate the band's genre-moulding yet tumultuous career, TMN and Shock Entertainment are giving away five Double-DVD packs including the quintessential Deep Purple documentary Phoenix Rising and Deep Purple: Live At Montreux 2011 - from when the band closed this year’s Montreux Festival on July 16.
 
Deep Purple will take you backstage as Jon Lord and Glenn Hughes tell the story of Ian Gillan and Roger Glover’s departures and the post Gillan years, through never before seen live images, backstage footage, never before told stories and original video material collected through years of hard work.

Terms and Conditions 1. Information regarding how to enter, how to claim and details of prizes form part of these conditions of entry. Entry into this competition is deemed to be acceptance of these conditions of entry. 2. Entry is open to residents of Australia over the age of 15 who fulfill the entry requirements. Directors, employees, management, officers, contractors (and their immediate families) of The Music Network or any agencies or companies associated with this competition (including Shock Records) are ineligible to enter. “Immediate families” means spouse, parent, natural or adopted child and sibling (whether natural or adopted by a parent), whether or not they live in the same household as the director, employee, manager, officer or contractor. *Entrants under the age of 18 must have the consent of their parent or guardian to enter the competition. 3. The competition commences at 9.00am Australian Eastern Standard Time ("AEST") on Monday October 31 2011 & closes at 5pm AEST Monday November 21 2011 ("Competition Period"). 4. The Music Network reserve the right to verify the validity of all entries and reserve the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process, including but not limited to submitting multiple entries or for submitting an entry that is not otherwise in accordance with these terms and conditions. 5. To enter, entrants must visit the competition page at www.themusicnetwork.com and complete the online entry form, including entering their full name and contact details. Entrants must then submit their entry in 25 words or less. This competition is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the identity of the winner. All valid entries received during the Competition Period will be judged on their merit and the entry judged to be the best wins the prize. 6. The Prize Deep Purple double DVD pack. The prize is not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. The prize is valued at up to $69.99 amount, (the Promoter and The Music Network accept no responsibility for any variation in the prize value). 7. Judging will be completed by 6pm (“AEST”) on Monday November 21 2011. A representative of The Music Network will contact the winner so that they may claim the prize. If the winner does not respond to claim the prize within 7 days of the winner being notified by The Music Network then the prize will be considered forfeited and the entrant judged to have sent the next best entry will be given an opportunity to claim the prize. The winner's name and postcode will appear at www.themusicnetwork.com 8. The Music Network are not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered, including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss, or for personal injury suffered or sustained during the course of accepting or taking the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. 9. The Music Network will use all reasonable means to ensure the Prize is delivered as specified, however take no responsibility if any part of the prize is damaged, called off, varied or replaced for any reason outside of The Music Networks reasonable control. 10. By entering the competition, The Music Network may disclose entrants' personal information to their contractors and agents, for marketing purposes, to assist in conducting this competition or communicating with entrants and notifying the winner. 11. By entering the competition, the prize winner agrees to the use of their name for publicity and promotional purposes, without compensation, and agrees that The Music Network will own copyright in any copy or images and in all material incorporating the copy or images. 12. By entering the competition, each entrant agrees to the use of their 25 word entry statement for printing, broadcast, publicity and promotional purposes, including but not limited to such use by The Music Network without compensation, and agrees that The Music Network will own all intellectual property rights, including copyright, in any such material. It is a condition of accepting any prize that the winner acknowledges that The Music Network acquire the 25 word statement for use for its commercial purposes and agrees not to object to any such use on the basis of any moral right. 13. If for any reason this Competition is not capable of running as planned, whether caused by infection by computer virus, mobile phone failure, line drop out, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the control of The Music Network which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or integrity of the Competition, The Music Network reserves the right in its sole discretion, (subject to any written direction given by a relevant Regulatory Authority), to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition. The Music Network may in its sole discretion disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process. 14. Entries are deemed as received at the time of receipt into the www.themusicnetwork.com database. The Music Network is not responsible for receipt of incomplete or inaccurate information caused by an entrant or occurring during transmission. The Music Network are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any computer network, servers, internet providers, traffic congestion on any computer network, or any combination of the aforementioned including any injury or damage to participants or any other person's handset or computer related to or resulting from participation or sending or receiving of any communication or of any materials in this Competition.
