HOW TO ENTER

To enter, entrants must spend $20 or over at King of Knives or Chef King stores (excludes gift vouchers), visit www.kingofknives.com, follow the prompts to complete the on-line entry form and enter all requested details including full name, email address, mobile phone number, newsletter sign-up and the unique receipt number, purchase amount and date from their till roll receipt during the promotional period.  Only one entry permitted per purchase. All entries must be received by 5pm AEST on 30th November 2011 .

When an entrant submits a valid receipt number on-line they will go in to the daily draw to win a full refund on the total purchase price shown on that receipt up to a maximum of $500. One prize will be awarded per day during the promotional period.

Winners will be notified via email within two days of the draw and a King of Knives Gift Card for the refund amount will be mailed to them.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participating in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

2. Entry is only open to residents of Australia.  Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter and its agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible. 

3. The Promoter reserves the right, at anytime, to verify the validity of entries (including an entrant’s identity, and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Failure of the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

4. Multiple entries permitted, subject to the following: (a) only one entry permitted per specified purchase requirement; (b) each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with the entry requirements; (c) only one unique Receipt Number per entry is permitted; (d) the same unique Receipt Number cannot be used more than once; and (e) unrecognised Receipt Numbers will be deemed invalid.

5. Entrants must retain their winning till roll receipt(s) for all entries as proof of purchase. The entrant may be asked to produce the till roll receipt bearing the winning Receipt Number verifying the purchase was made during the promotional period. Failure to produce proof of purchase for all entries when requested may in the absolute discretion of the Promoter result in invalidation of all of an Entrant’s entries and forfeiture of any right to a prize.

6. Promotion commences at 9am AEST on 01/10/11 .  Entries close 5pm AEST on 30/11/11 . Winners will be notified via email and their names will be published on the King of Knives website no later than on 7 /12/1 1   Winners of prizes valued over $250 will have their names published in The Australian on 14/12/11 .  The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Prize draws for each week will take place each Friday of the promotion (07 /10/11 , 14 /10/11 , 21 /10/11 , 28 /10/11 , 04 /11 /11 , 11 /11/11 , 18 /11/11 , 25 /11/11, 1/12/11 , at 5pm at King of Knives, U nit 7, 809-821 Botany Road, Rosebery NSW.

7. Prizes: 61 x Gift Card refunds to the value as recorded on the till roll receipt up to the value of $5 00 each. When an entrant submits a winning Receipt Number on-line which is determined to be a winner, the entrant will be notified via email. The promoter may call and request the Receipt Number to verify that the purchase occurred during the promotional period, before arranging to send the winner a cheque for the total amount of their purchase to a maximum of $500.
Total prize pool is valued at up to AUD$30,500.00.   Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash unless otherwise stipulated. 

8. Unless otherwise due to fraud or ineligibility under these terms and conditions all prize claims in excess of the advertised prize pool will be honoured. Printing and other quality control errors will not invalidate an otherwise valid prize claim.

9. A draw for any unclaimed prizes may take place at 11am on 02 /04/12 at King of Knives, U nit 7, 809-821 Botany Road, Rosebery NSW, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. Winners will be notified via email and their names will be published on the King of Knives website.  Winners of prizes valued over $250 will have their names published in The Australian on 14 /12/2011 .

10. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) a prize.

11. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.

12. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including, but not limited to, prize suppliers and as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this information. Unless otherwise advised, the Promoter may also use the information for promotional, marketing and publicity purposes including sending electronic messages. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
