Promotion Terms and Conditions

    To be eligible to enter, entrants must register on The Good Guys Facebook page and play our memory game and match up the tiles for their chance to win a Christmas Entertainment Pack valued at $4914.00.  Entries must be received between Friday 2nd December, 2011 at 10am AEDST and Wednesday 21st December, 2011 at 11.59pm AEDST inclusive (“Promotion Period”).
    Multiple Entries are not permitted, only one entry per household address will be allowed.
    There is 1 x Christmas Entertainment Pack (as per below table) valued at $4914.00 (“Prize”) to be given away. 1 winner will be electronically drawn and will be awarded with one Prize.

    The electronic draw will take place on Thursday 22nd December 2011 at Handling Matters Pty Ltd, 1/3 Green Street, Brookvale NSW 2100 at 11am. The winners will be notified by email and by phone on the same day.
     The name of the Prize draw winner from participating The Good Guys stores will be published in the public notices section in The Australian Newspaper on 28/12/2011.
    The winner of the Christmas Pack must collect their prize from their nearest The Good Guys store within 14 days thereafter.
    The Promotion is open to all residents of Australia aged 18 years or over. However, employees of The Good Guys and their associated agencies and companies are not eligible to participate.
    The Promoter reserves the right to request entrants to provide such proof of identity; age and proof of residency as considered suitable at the discretion of the Promoter. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost or misdirected entries not received by the Promoter or delays due to technical disruptions, network congestion or for any other reason.
    Prizes cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash.
    If a prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a product of equal or greater value, subject to State Regulation.
    The winners will be notified via their registered email address.
    Prizes will only be awarded to the account holder of the nominated email address used to submit their entry. The winners therefore must be, in each case, the email account holder.
    Should an entrant’s contact details change during the Promotional Period, it is the entrant’s responsibility to notify the Promoter. A request to access or modify any information provided in an entry should be directed to the Promoter.
    The Promoter’s decision is final and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the Promotion result.
    It is a condition of accepting the Prize that the entrant must comply with all the conditions of use of the Promoter’s requirements.
    The Promoter reserves the right to announce the winner to the public, by first name and state of residence. This may be announced on any media, including social media channels, website or print publications.
    The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any entrant who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the Promotion. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
    The Promoter and their subsidiaries and companies assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission; communications; line failure; theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of entries, and reserve the right to take any action that may be available.
    If for any reason this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the Entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion, subject to any written direction given under State Regulation.

The Promoter is committed to maintaining your privacy, and we want you to understand how we use and manage your data.
