TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Information on how to enter and prizes forms part of the conditions of entry. 2. Participation in this
competition confirms your acceptance of all terms and conditions of entry. 3. Entry is only open to residents
of Australia, aged 18 or over, who purchase one of the December “Pharmacy Best Buys” advertised
products in one transaction, excluding all Schedule 2 (Pharmacy Medicines) and Schedule 3 (Pharmacist
Only Medicine), from participating “Pharmacy Best Buys” pharmacies. Employees and their immediate
families of the Promoter, participating pharmacies and its agencies associated with this promotion are
ineligible to enter. 4. To enter, complete the entry forms found in store and place it in the entry box found
in store. For the entry to be valid, the official entry form must include the name of the entrant, permanent
address, phone number, product purchased, proof of purchase, staff name and pharmacy name where
product purchased. Validation and identification must be shown if requested. 5. For the entry to be valid,
the official entry form must not have been tampered with in any way. The form must not have been made
illegible, re-issued, mutilated, altered, stamped paid, marked void, stolen, misprinted, counterfeit, reconstituted, defective as this will render it ineligible for a prize. 6. Multiple entries will be accepted, but
each transaction requires a separate entry form. One entry form will be awarded per eligible transaction.
Each product purchased may only be used to enter the major prize draw once.7. The Promoter reserves the
right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or
who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry. 8. Entry into the December
Promotion is only valid from participating tagged “Pharmacy Best Buys” pharmacies during the advertised
period.  9. Promotion commences Monday December 5th, 2011. Entries close 5pm, AEST Saturday
December 24th, 2011.  The final date for submissions of entries is Saturday December 24th, 2011. The
draw will take place at 12 noon, Wednesday January 4th, 2012, at the offices of Australian Pharmaceutical
Industries Limited: 885 Mountain Highway, Bayswater, VIC 3153.  10. One winner from each of NSW/
ACT, VIC/TAS, SA/NT, QLD, and WA will be drawn and notified by phone and mail. All winners’ names will
be published in “The Australian” on Friday, 13th January 2012. 11. The December prize is a Sony PS3
320GB Slim Gaming Console (supplier RRP $449) and a Sony BDVE280 3D Blu-ray Home Theatre System
(supplier RRP $499) at a total supplier RRP value of $948. Total prize pool value is $4,740. Should the
delay in delivery of the specified products be excessive; the promoter reserves the right to change the
models at an equivalent value subject to state legislation.  12. The Promoter accepts no responsibility
for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings.  Independent financial advice should be
sought. 13. The Promoter may conduct such further draws at the same time and place as the original draw
as are necessary on 11/04/2012 in order to distribute any Prize Draw unclaimed by that date, subject
to state regulations. Winners will be notified by mail. Winner’s advertisement will be published in “The
Australian” on Friday, April 20th, 2012. 14. The promoter is Australian Pharmaceutical Industries Limited

for any reason any aspect of the promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of
tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any cause beyond the control of the
promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the
promotion, the promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion, or
invalidate any affected entries, subject to the approval of the relevant authorities in each state or territory
where required. 16. The promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any
loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense,
damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s
negligence) in connection with this promotion or accepting or using any prize, except for any liability which
cannot be excluded by law. 17. By entering the promotion, unless otherwise advised by the entrant, each
entrant consents to the information they submit with their entry being stored by the Promoter for the
duration of the promotional period. All personal details of the entrants will be stored at the office of the
Promoter. The Promoter is bound to comply with the Privacy Act 1988 and a request to access, update or
correct any information should be directed to Promoter’s office. 18. Entrants consent to the Promoter using
the entrant’s name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event that they are a winner (inc. photograph, film,
and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited time without remuneration for the purpose of
promoting this competition. 19. All entries become the property of the promoter, and will only be used for
the purposes of this competition. Entries will not be returned to the entrants. Judges decision in relation
to any aspect of the competition is final and binding.  No correspondence will be entered into. 20. Permit
