 Game contest- Official Rules
1. Information on how to enter and prizes forms part of these Conditions of Entry.
2. Entry is open to all Australian and New Zealand residents who visit www.facebook.com/gameloft
during the promotional period. Employees (and immediate family members spouse and children,
parents, in-laws and siblings and spouses of the foregoing or anyone living in households of such
employees) of Promoter, its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates and its advertising, sweepstakes or
promotion agencies, and any other entity engaged in any way in the development, production,
printing, distribution or execution of this promotion are ineligible.
3. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who
tampers with the entry process or who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these
Conditions of Entry.
4. No responsibility accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries.
5. The promotion commences 10.00am AEST on December 15
th
, 2011 and closes at 11.59pm AEST on
December 27
th
, 2011 ("the Promotional Period"). All entries must be received within the Promotional
Period to be eligible. The promoter may in its absolute discretion end the promotion prior to the
conclusion date.
6. Judging will commence at 9am AEST on December 28th, 2011. Judging will take place at the
Gameloft Australia PTY LTD office, Tower 2, 201 Sussex Street, Sydney NSW 2000, Australia.
7. Only entries submitted via entry on the Gameloft Facebook “Win a Macbook Air” Tab will be
accepted.  Judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. This is a game of skill
and chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each entry will be individually judged based on
literary and creative merit. The winner will be notified by email.
8. Become a fan of Gameloft’s profile on Facebook.com at http://www.facebook.com/gameloft  . If
you do not have an account on Facebook, you must create one by following instructions on
Facebook.com. Creating an account is free. 
a. Once logged in, go to http://www.facebook.com/gameloft, and become a fan of this
profile.
b. Once you’re a fan (or if you’re already a Gameloft fan), you can go on the “Win a
Macbook Air” Tab and enter the contest.
c. You will need to ‘like’ the Facebook pages of Gameloft and Macworld Australia
(linked to https://www.facebook.com/AusMacworld), then answer the question “Tell us if 13
is your lucky number and why?”
d. Any attempt by any person to enter more than one entry by using
multiple/different email addresses, identities, registrations, or any other methods will void
all entries entered by that person and that person, at the sole discretion of Sponsor, may be
disqualified from the Contest. Use of any automated system or similar devices to participate
is prohibited and will result in disqualification.
9. One (1) winning entry on Facebook, as determined by the Judges, will win the main prize. Twelve (12) winning entries on Facebook, as determined by the Judges, will win the consolation
prizes.
10. The major prize is (1) one Apple Macbook Air, valued at $AU 1,099.00. The best answer selected
by the judges will win the major prize. The consolation prize is one (1) $AU20 iTunes gift card per
winner.
12. Winners of the prizes will be contacted via email in order to arrange delivery. If winners cannot
be contacted within two months of the close of the competition, then the winner will have forfeited
the prize. Delivery is only available to physical addresses i.e. no post office boxes. If the prize cannot
be delivered to the specified delivery address, then the winner of the prize is responsible for any
additional delivery charges.
13. The prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. No responsibility is
accepted for any variation in the value of the prize.
14. In the event the prize is not available, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize in its
discretion to the same and equal recommended retail value.
15. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including
but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) of for personal injury which is suffered or sustained,
as a result of taking the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. Certain
legislation may imply warranties or conditions which cannot be excluded, restricted or modified
except to a limited extent. These terms and conditions must be read subject to those statutory
conditions. If those statutory provisions apply, The Promoter limits its liability in respect of any claim
under those provisions to, at the Promoter’s option: (i) the replacement of the goods or the supply of
equivalent goods; (ii) the repair of the goods; (iii) the payment of the cost of replacing the goods or
of acquiring equivalent goods; or (iv) the payment of having the goods repaired.
16. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from taking the
prize. Independent financial advice should be sought.
17. The Promoter collects entrants' personal information in order to conduct the promotion. If the
information requested is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the promotion. By entering
the promotion, unless otherwise advised, each entrant also agrees that the Promoter may use this
information, in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any
further reference, payment or other compensation to the entrant, including sending the entrant
electronic messages. Entrants' personal information may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery
departments and winners’ names published as required under the relevant lottery legislation. A
request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to the Promoter at their
address set out below.
18. In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency, disaster or (without limitation) any other
event outside our reasonable control, the Promoter is entitled to cancel, terminate, modify or
suspend the competition.
