Also a reminder for those wishing to sell any unwanted prizes, to please use the Unwanted Prizes or Auction sections for this purpose.  Please do not list your intent to sell in this thread, as this would show Trainees what is available and would invite them to pm a seller directly.  Trainees do not have access to the Unwanted Prizes or Auction sections, and have to attain the status of Junior Member before they are allowed to trade.  This rule is to protect our trading community from members who have no established posting history in ACC.

Had an email on 22nd Dec to say I'd won a night at Holiday Inn - just got a WPC today to say I could have another night as well, consecutive nights, because I'd won twice  :scratch:

I won a night at Holiday Inn too  :lol:, I won a couple of weeks ago, but I haven't been on.  I first of all was told I won, then told I'd responded too late & now lost the night, then got another email to apologise & say there was a glitch but still couldn't have the night I wanted unless I wanted to go to Townsville  :shock:, I thanked them very much & said no, then got another email to offer me a night at Surfer's  :lol:.  Worked out great because DD & I went up & did most of our Christmas shopping.  The place was lovely & very central  :lol:.

I've had a couple of freebies over the past couple of weeks.... shampoo, Nivea face cream, liners, & I won a couple of books from Simon & Schuster  :lol:

YAY...just successfully submitted my order for my SPREETS photo book won a little while back ( a few of us did). I had planned to use it after Christmas and now wait for my funny and cute photo book from Christmas 2011 to arrive! 

Hi, I'm new to posting, but intend to get the hang of it for 2012. I'm not new to competitions- I've entered them for years, and I've won a lot of small prizes; cinema tickets, books, DVD's etc. However, I'm super excited cos last week I won 2 big..ish prizes. I won an Xbox from kleenex mums, just in time for my kids for christmas; they were overjoyed! I also won a 30 bottle wine fridge worth $700 (from Harvey Norman 12 days of christmas on Facebook), which I'm still waiting to recieve. I'm hoping 2012 is going to be my lucky year! Thank you to everyone who posts on ACC, I Love this website!

Arrived home from spending my $1000 giftcard before the time expired..lol-a long story...to find a nice little delivery on the doorstep - a cute little Aqua Japan Teapot worth 44 smackers..woohoo..thanks to Ceramics for the posting!

On return from my walk this morning I found a parcel in my garage containing a Red Dog DVD and CD from Australian Geographic, thanks culturebird.  Unfortunately, I think I ran over it in the dark last night but only broke one corner of the CD case. Phew!

Picked up several parcels from before Christmas today, one was the freebie Facebook, Dulux Paint calendar. The other was a Huggie teddy bear, I'd half claimed from bar codes months back, I was supposed to send in the receipt, never got around to it, they must of got sick of waiting and sent it anyway, it has a very happy face that baby Grandson was cooing too this morning. :)

I got an email today saying I won a Lenovo G570 laptop in the DO machine comp!
I'm super happy about it, but as I've already got the same model laptop, this will be a late Christmas pressie for my bf!

The email looked kind of like spam at first, but after reading through some posts here, apparently other people got the same email and it all seems legit! Pretty happy with it after about a month of comping! :D

Has anyone else won from this comp, and could tell me when it was delivered after you got told you won? The email says "Please ensure this is an address where someone will be available to take receipt of the delivery, business addresses tend to be best.", but as its uni holidays at the moment, I might be going away in the next week or two, I don't want to miss it!

iI had problems with mine - they ended up having to send me a second one as the first one got "lost"???   I told them to send it to home, even though they preferred a business address, because I said I had never had a problem with deliveries to my home address!  So of course it went missing!  The second time I had it delivered to a business address, and it arrived within several days!

I also won a watch on the Sidchrome comp a few days ago but haven't received an email. Has anyone else not received an email? I know another person who won a T-shirt received an email straight away.

Congrats Janebell, Will only deliver to a business address only. Mine took about 2 weeks to come. Maybe have it delivered to a family member who works.

I had mine delivered to a friends business address, it arrived after approx 3 weeks..no probs..

I sent them my home address, and got an automated out of the office email back. The woman is away til the 3rd of Jan apparently. I hope this doesn't end up being too much of an ordeal...and I don't really know anyone very near by at all where I can get things delivered. My boyfriend works at a university, but office hours over the holidays make this difficult, and once it's been signed for it sits in a non secure mail room, so I don't know what to do with it now...

Mine was delivered to my business address about 2-3 weeks afterwards. No problems.

Hi Janebell.  I had a bit of a saga over this one, I posted it on general chat I think. I didn't have a business place but could be certain someone was home at all times.  After a few weeks I ended up with the name/number of the specialist delivery company.  Took some doing but with persistance I got them to track it through Toll who had brought it from Sydney to Brisbane.  They kept telling me it had been delivered already. Turns out it had been sitting in their depot for weeks.  Lenovo had put their own Sydney address instead of my address as delivery address although their paper work had my name and address on it. Weird!  The courier who delivered it in the end wanted to see photo ID. He also said that he could have told them I hadn't recieved it because he only delivers to my area.  I got the impression they were suspicious I was after another one.

Anyway well done girl!  It's a great prize. I gave mine to my husband who loves it.  BF will be very happy.
