1. INTRODUCTION
These terms and conditions can be collected at the reception desk of 2AY - 559 Hume St, Albury, NSW,
2640 and can be downloaded from the website www.2ay.com.au
Entry is open to all New South Wales and Victorian residents however employees and the immediate
families of Ace Radio Broadcasters Pty. Ltd. and participating companies are ineligible to enter.
2. PROMOTION DATES
Entries open: Monday 12th December 2011
Entries close: Friday 20th January 2012
Winner drawn:Monday 23rd January 2012 (8.20am)
3. METHOD OF ENTRY
Members of the public must fill out an entry form and place it in the barrel located at any one of the
participating businesses (see attached list of businesses) within the promotional period .
Entrants are NOT required to make a purchase in order to fill out an entry form.
Entrants may enter this Promotion in accordance with the entry requirements. Each person may enter
only once per business per day. Multiple registrations will result in the entry being deemed invalid.
Inaudible, incomplete, incomprehensible entries (whichever is applicable) will not be eligible and will
be disqualified. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entry which in the opinion of the
Promoter includes any content which may be unlawful, profane, inflammatory, defamatory and/or
damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the Promoter.
Any person who is discovered to have used or attempted to use more than one name in entering the
Promotion will be disqualified from participating in the Promotion and/or redeeming a prize.
Should an entrant’s contact details change during the Promotion Period, it is the entrant’s responsibility
to notify the Promoter. A request to access or modify any information provided in an entry should be
directed to the Promoter.
The prize draw will be held on the 23rd January 2012 at 8.20am at the 2AY Studios - 559 Hume St,
Albury, NSW 2640. One name will be drawn at random from the pool of entries and that person will be
deemed the winner of the prize (see item:4).
4. PRIZE(s)
The prize for this promotion is a Quintrex 400 Explorer Trophy boat with Mercury 2 stroke motor, QTX
Trailer 4.0 Lite Weight 600kg 13" L/Skids, full installation, detail hold downs and motor stay safety gear
(4 standard life jackets) relevant state boat and trailer rego and Biminy (roof canopy).
Total prize value: $12,990
All prize values are the recommended retail value as provided by the supplier, are in Australian dollars
and are correct at the time of printing.
5. PRIZE CONDITIONS
The Promoter does not warrant the merchantability, suitability and/or fitness for purpose of any goods
and/or services awarded as a prize.
The prize is non exchangeable, and will be transferred to the winner by the 20/02/2012. The winner
must show identification in the form of one of the following in order to redeem the prize:
Drivers License
Proof of age card
Current Passport
Birth Certificate
In the event that a winner cannot provide suitable proof, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and
no substitute will be offered. All prizes are not redeemable for cash.
If a prize winner does not take any element of a prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter then that
element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that prize or
any part of it.
It will be the winners responsibility to take out all relevant insurance which may be required or prudent
to be taken (at their own cost).
6. NOTIFICATION
The prize winner will be notified:
(a) on air at the time of winning;
(b) by telephone;
(c) in writing
(d) in the Herald Sun on the 25/01/2012
7. PUBLICITY MATERIALS
It is a condition of entry that the Promoter has the right to publicize, broadcast and communicate to
the public the names, characters, likenesses or voices of any entrants for any promotion or matter
incidental to the Promotion.
Entrants consent to their entry being read out on air and/or to their telephone and other conversations
with the Promoter being broadcast on air and communicate to the public on the website/s.
Entrants may be required by the Promoter to participate in photo, recording, video and/or film
session(s) (the “publicity materials”) and acknowledge that the Promoter has the right to use such
publicity materials in any medium (including, without limitation, the internet) and in any reasonable
manner it sees fit, unless that person advises the Promoter at the time of entering the Promotion that
he/she wishes to retain his/her anonymity.
Entrants also acknowledge that the publicity materials may be provided to the prize provider for the
purposes of promotional display.
8. MINORS
If the prize winner is under the age of 18 years the prize will be awarded to the prize winner’s parent
or legal guardian on behalf of the winner. No further correspondence will be entered into.
9. DECISIONS FINAL
All decisions and actions of the Promoter relating to the Promotion and/or redemption of the prizes are
exercised accordingly at its absolute discretion and are final. No discussions or correspondence with
entrants or any other person will be entered into.
