ITEM 4: WEBSITE www.saesounds.com.au www.2dayfm.com.au www.fox.com.au www.b105.com.au www.safm.com.au www.929.com.au (the “website”). ITEM 5: PROMOTION REGISTRATION DATES AND TIMES Registrations will open at 12:01am (AEDT) on Monday 23rd January 2012 and will close at 11:59pm (AEDT) on Sunday 26th February 2012 (“Registration Period”). The Promoter reserves the right to extend the Registration Period at its own discretion. ITEM 6: PROMOTION CONTESTING DATES AND TIMES N/A ITEM 7: ENTRANT RESTRICTIONS Entry is available to permanent residents of: - NSW - Victoria - Queensland - South Australia - Western Australia Entrants must be aged 17 years and over. ITEM 8: METHOD OF ENTRY Entrants will be required to visit the website and download the supplied audio tracks. They will then be required to mix the audio and upload it (As a MP3) along with their entry. They will be required to answer the following question in 100 words or less “Why do you want an SAE Scholarship?” NB: Track Conditions Tracks must be a maximum of 2mins in length A maximum of 3 tracks per entrant Entrants must use a minimum of 6 of the tracks provided Entrants must use sample track 1 at some point during their composition ITEM 9: JUDGING DETAILS Judging will take place at L15, 50 Goulburn Street, Sydney at 11am (AEDT) on Monday 27th February 2012 The best five (5) entrants at the Promoters discretion will be selected as finalists and details will be passed onto SAE who will then conduct an interview with each of the finalists, and will then select one (1) winner based on their suitability for the course. ITEM 10: DRAW DETAILS N/A ITEM 11: PRIZE DETAILS There will be one (1) prize. Each prize will consist of one (1) each of the following: One (1) x full one year scholarship of tuition fees for a full time audio/sound production course with SAE Institute. Depending on the scholarship winner's campus of choice, the winner will receive a fully paid place for the Diploma of Sound Production (Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide or Perth) or for the first year of the Bachelor of Audio Production (Brisbane, Sydney, Byron Bay, Melbourne or Perth) on successful completion of the first year of the Bachelor Degree, the winner will be eligible for a HE Diploma or can choose to complete the Degree under the normal fee structure. Prize Value: AU $19,900 (First year Bachelor of Audio Production available in : Sydney, Byron Bay, Melbourne, Perth) or AU $13,500 (Diploma of Sound Production available in: Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide) depending on the winner’s campus and course of choice. ITEM 12: PRIZE WINNER PUBLICATION DETAILS N/A ITEM 13: UNCLAIMED PRIZE DRAW DATE AND PUBLICATION DATE N/A ITEM 14: OTHER CONDITIONS Course must be commenced by April 2013. Entrants must be at least 17 years of age. The scholarship winner may enroll at any Australian campus of their choosing. The scholarship winner must remain at a single campus for the duration of their scholarship. This scholarship is non-transferable and is available only to the selected winner. In order for the scholarship to remain valid, the scholarship winner must pass every trimester. The scholarship winner must: Complete an SAE application form and return it to their campus of choice. Meet the following SAE entry requirements: Proof of Australian or New Zealand citizenship such as a birth certificate and driver’s license OR a passport. Proof of high school completion such as an HSC or Certificate IV (not applicable if winner is over 21 years of age) Complete a phone interview with the campus manager and campus academic coordinator |
