The Lady from the Sea 24 to 26 February, Brisbane Powerhouse A poetic and visually stunning adaptation of Henrik Ibsen's classic, The Lady from the Sea, explores the internal anguish, conflicts and confusion implicit in romantic relationships. Featuring a married woman who must decide between her husband and her first fiancé; Abhinaya Theatre Company and Topology mix contemporary Indian culture, tonnes of sand, cinematic projections and a live score composed by Robert Davidson to transform this classic, into a unique theatrical experience. The Lady from the Sea, is being shown as part of World Theatre Festival; ten days of theatre, from Australia and around the globe.
