WOMADelaide, Australia’s favourite open-air festival of Music, Arts and Dance returns to Adelaide’s Botanic Park from Friday 9 March to Monday 12 March 2012.

To celebrate, WOMAD and the Geelong Advertiser are giving one lucky reader the chance to win a fantastic WOMADelaide Experience for two people, valued at $2,058.

The prize includes: Four night’s accommodation at Hilton Adelaide | Two, four day general admission passes | Two VIP passes for Sunday 11 March | merchandise. Flights and transfers are not included with the prize.

Terms and Conditions


 WIN a WOMAD Experience!

1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these terms and conditions of entry.
 2. The Promoter is Geelong Advertiser Proprietary Limited 191-195 Ryrie Street, Geelong Vic 3220. ABN. 59004090055.
 3. The competition commences 09/02/2012.
 4. Entries close midnight 19/02/2012.
 5. Entrants must visit geelongadvertiser.com.au and enter the required details and the code word 'WOMAD' which appears inside the Geelong Advertiser Thursday 9 February and Thursday 16 February 2012.
 6. The promoter does not accept responsibility for late, lost, misdirected entries or entries sent but not received.
 7. There will be one prize draw.
 8. The prize draw will take place on 20/02/2012 at 11am AEST at the Geelong Advertiser office, 191-195 Ryrie Street, Geelong through a random draw from those that have entered.
 9. There is one prize on offer, being: -
 A WOMAD Experience at WOMADelaide 2012 at Adelaide's Botanic Park from Friday 9 March to Monday 12 March 2012 including:
 - Four night's accommodation in a twin or double room at Hilton Adelaide, 233 Victoria Square, Adelaide on 09/03/12, 10/03/12, 11/03/12, 12/03/12
 -Two, four day general admission passes to WOMADelaide
 - Two VIP passes for 11/02/12
 - WOMAD merchandise
 10. Flights and transfers are not included with the prize.
 11. The winner is responsible for all other costs and expenses associated with the prize.
 12. Total prize pool value $2,058.
 13. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for changes in prize value between now and the time of redemption.
 14. The promoter retains the right to substitute the prize with another prize of similar value in the event the original prize offered is not available.
 15. The promoter will not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Including but not limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation or any other circumstances.
 16. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering the competition or accepting the prize.
 17. The winner will be contacted directly by a WOMAD representative to arrange fulfilment of the prize.
 18. The winner will be published in the Public Notices section of the Geelong Advertiser on 21/02/2012.
19. The winner must, on request by the promoter, be able to provide evidence, which to the reasonable satisfaction of the Promoter, demonstrates that the winner is an eligible entrant and has complied with these terms and conditions.
 20. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any person who tampers with the entry process.
 21. Judge's decision is final and no further correspondence will be entered into.
 22. The prize is not transferable or exchangeable for cash.
 23. By entering competitions, entrants give permission for their names to be published inside a Geelong Advertiser Group product if a prize is won.
 24. When requested, winners will make themselves available for photographs that may be published for publicity purposes.
 25. Staff and immediate families of the Geelong Advertiser Group are ineligible to enter.
 26. Entry details remain the property of the promoter.
 27. The personal information supplied to the Promoter is for the purpose of entering this competition only and may be used by us or any of our Australian related companies for future marketing and publicity purposes. This personal information may be disclosed to third parties to determine whether an entrant has breached the terms and conditions.
