LUTHER is a dark psychological television drama starring Idris Elba (The Wire, The Losers) as John Luther, a gifted detective struggling with self-control and imposed boundaries, returns in Series 2 with two distinct, thrilling two-part crime stories.

Devastated by the brutal murder of his wife (Indira Varma), John Luther returns to work to discover a different world. His old unit has gone and he’s working in the newly created Serious and Serial unit, headed by former police complaints officer DCI Martin Schenk (Dermot Crowley).

Luther quickly gathers his team, rescuing his former partner Detective Justin Ripley (Warren Brown) from uniform. Their first case involves a masked man who is wandering London’s streets carrying out ritualistic murders in historic locations, working his way up to a final masterpiece.

The final two episodes feature a confronting and violent perpetrator who seemingly rolls a dice in order to select his victims in a murderous spree of exponential intensity that leaves Luther on the brink of madness.

This is a Game of Skill which contains no element of chance, and which will be judged by members of the Australian Penthouse staff on 02/05/12. Five winners will receive one DVD copy of Luther Series 2, valued at $39.95 each, as detailed above. Prizes will be mailed to winners at the address nominated in their entries.
