Mother's Day, Trees for Mum planting event Date: Sunday 13th May 2012 Location: Federation Park, Palmwoods Let your love grow on Mother's Day Mothers and trees have plenty in common – they’re unique, they’re precious and they deliver life to all of us. So why not plant a tree to honour your mum this Mother's Day. Now in its fourth year, the Mother's Day, Trees for Mum planting event will be held at Federation Park, Palmwoods from 9am to 12pm on Sunday 13 May. Originally designed as an event of remembrance for those who’s mothers had died, the event has grown into a tribute to all mothers. Sunshine Coast Council will provide trees and equipment for participants, who will also receive a notice of the species of tree they plant on the day. Mother's Day, Trees for Mum planting event.
