Terms & Conditions


 1. Information on how to enter and prizes forms part of the Conditions of Entry. 2. Entry is free and open to all residents of Australia, 18 years and over, with a current Civic Video membership (“Members”). Employees and their immediate families of the promoter, participating outlets, associated companies and its agencies associated with the promotion are ineligible to enter. The promoter is Civic Video Pty Ltd (67 003 851 152) 110 Bourke Rd Alexandria NSW 2015. 3. The competition commences Friday, 25 May 2012 and ends Monday, 25 June 2012 at 4pm. The winners will be drawn at each participating Civic store on Monday, 9 July 2012 at 4pm. 4. Limit one entry per rental or purchase transaction of “A FEW BEST MEN”. Entry must be on the original entry form provided by store or via the official competition page on the Civic Video website at www.civicvideo.com.au. Proof of purchase must be presented to claim the prize if the winner declares purchase as validation for entry. 5. To enter customers must rent or buy “A FEW BEST MEN” during the promotion period (Friday, 25 May 2012 to Monday, 25 June 2012) at a participating Civic Video store, complete the entry form at the counter and place it in the draw, or enter online at www.civicvideo.com.au. 6. The first valid entry drawn in each store will win A copy of A Few Best Men on DVD valued at up to $34.95. Each prize is valued at $34.95. 7. Prize values: (ACT – 6 stores) $209.70, (NSW – 63 stores) $2,201.85, (NT – 5 stores) $174.75, (Qld – 58 stores) $2,027.10, (SA – 5 stores) $174.75, (Vic – 14 stores) $489.30, (WA – 29 stores) $1238.45. Total prize pool is valued at $6291 (RRP). 8. The promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage suffered or sustained as a result of the prize. 9. Winner(s) will be notified by mail, telephone and email where available. A notice will also be placed in store announcing the winner’s name. Winners will be notified by Monday, 23 July 2012. 10. The prize, and any portion of the prize, is not transferable or redeemable for cash. 11. Unclaimed prizes will be drawn on Monday, 5 November 2012 in each participating Civic store at 4pm. Winner(s) from unclaimed prize drawn will be notified by mail, telephone and email where available by Monday, 19 November 2012. A notice will also be placed in store announcing the winner’s name. 12. Normal membership conditions apply. 13. The judges’ decision in relation to any aspect of the competition is final and binding to any person who enters. No correspondence will be entered into. 14. The promoter may use the entrants’ names and addresses for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes. This may include a certificate displayed in the winner’s nominated store and/or “loop disc” announcement of the winner(s) and/or subscription to our electronic newsletter. Winners can opt out of in-store announcements by contacting the promoter directly either by phone on +612 9206 8800 or by sending a written request to the promoter’s address shown in point 2 of these Terms and Conditions. Email newsletter subscriptions (relevant to online entries only) can be cancelled by clicking on the “remove me from this list” link on the newsletter. 15. The Promoter reserves the right to request that the winner provide proof of age and identity prior to awarding the prize.
