To enter, entrants must watch Nine News at 6pm between Sunday 01/07/12 until Saturday 07/07/12, look for the code word and enter online at www.9adelaide.com.au. [/b] TERMS & CONDITIONS OF ENTRY 1. Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry. Entry into the competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions. 2. The promotion is open to people who are residents of South Australia, except for the employees of the Promoter, WIN Television and all companies and agencies directly associated with this promotion. 3. The competition commences on Sunday 1st July at 6.00pm and concludes on Sunday 8th July at 0900am. The draw will take place at Channel 9, situated at 202 Tynte Street, North Adelaide SA on Monday 9th July. Entries will be collated from the entry period of the competition and go into the one draw. Seven (7) major prize winners will be drawn from the collated entries in which they need to stipulate the correct code word on the date they entered, as per below Table A. Out of the 7 winning families, 4 children between the ages of 4-12 will have the chance of a lifetime to ride on the ice in Alice in Wonderlands' magical birthday cake. These will be randomly drawn. Entrants under the age of 18 must obtain the prior permission of a parent or guardian over the age of 18 to enter. Incomprehensible and illegible entries will be deemed as invalid. 8. The winner of the promotion will be determined by the first Seven valid entries randomly drawn by the Promoter. The Seven winners will each receive the following: 4 x A Reserve tickets to Disney On Ice at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre on Thursday 19th July at 7.00pm Ticket value: $170 per winner Total value: $1190 Out of the Seven winners, 4 children between the ages of 4-12 will have the chance of a lifetime to ride on the ice in Alice in Wonderlands' magical birthday cake. These will be randomly drawn. 9. The winner will be notified by phone and details of the winner will be published online at www.9adelaide.com.au 10. The Prize is not transferable or exchangeable. The Winner will be required to attend the Promoter’s studio located at 202 Tynte Street, North Adelaide SA 5006 to collect the prize. The winners will need to present photo proof of identification on collection of prize such as driver’s licence. 11. If the prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value, subject to State regulation. 12. Once prizes have left the Promoter’s premises, the Promoter takes no responsibility for prizes damaged, delayed or lost in transit. 13. Independent financial advice should be sought as tax implications may arise as a result of accepting the prize. 14. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and the prize supplier’s requirements. 15. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the promoter in its absolute discretion. 16. In the case of intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions, subject to any written directions given under State Regulation. 17. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate. 18. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury which cannot be excluded by law. The Promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, either caused by the phone use or for any of the equipment or programming Page 3 of 4 associated with or utilised in this competition, or for any technical error, or any combination thereof that may occur in the course of the administration of this competition including any omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line or satellite network failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries. 19. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) use of the prize. 20. It is a condition of accepting a prize that the winner agrees to be interviewed, photographed and filmed at any time during the acceptance of the prize by the Promoter or their agents for a story or feature on this promotion to be developed and featured on Channel 9 South Australia (or any other form of media it deems suitable) without further remuneration or reference to the participant. Details may feature on Channel 9 South Australia on a date determined by the Promoters. The inclusion of any such feature (including but not limited to creative control of the feature) will remain with the Promoter at all times. 21. Participants must ensure that all care is taken when entering the competition online. It is the complete responsibility of the participant to ensure that they type the correct website address and enter their details correctly. In the event that an error occurs the Promoter accepts no responsibility for either, costs incurred, responses received or all other consequences. This is the responsibility of the participant. 22. Entries must be received by the close of each draw period within Table A. The time of entry will in each case be the time the online entry is received by the Channel 9 website database. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost or misdirected entries not received by the Promoter or delays in the delivery due to technical disruptions, network congestion or for any other reason. The Promoter reserves the right to verify, at any time during or after the closing of the promotion, the validity of all entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, including techniques designed to avoid payment of call costs. The Promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity, proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address and/or proof of entry validity in order to claim a prize. Proof of identification, resident and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. In the event that a winner cannot provide suitable proof, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered. 25. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned (including but not limited to) technical failures, unauthorised intervention, fraud or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and, subject to any written directions given by the various Lottery Departments, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this competition. 27. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
