To celebrate Emirates 10th anniversary in Western Australia, Emirates, Accor Hotels, The West Australian and Channel Seven are giving you the chance to win a luxury holiday valued at over $24,000.

One lucky person will win:
•    two return Emirates Business Class flights to the airline's new destinations Barcelona or Lisbon
•    three day stopover in the exciting city of Dubai with accommodation at the Pullman Mall of the Emirates Dubai with daily breakfast
•    five nights accommodation at either Novotel Barcelona or Novotel Lisbon with daily breakfast

To enter simply collect the entry coupon from Travel in The Weekend West(7-8 July) and any two daily coupons in The West Australian from Monday, July 9 - Friday, July 13.

Finalists will be drawn daily from Monday, July 16 – Thursday, July 19 and announced on Channel Seven during Home and Away. Finalists will have 30 minutes from when their name is displayed to call to register.

Terms and Conditions

1.    Instructions on how to enter, prize details and other information contained within the promotional advertisements form part of these terms and conditions.  By participating, in this promotion entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

2.    Only entries on original coupons published in The West Australian from Saturday, July 7 to Friday, July 13, 2012 are valid. A valid entry consists of one original coupon from The Weekend West on Saturday, July 7 and any two original coupons from The West Australian from Monday, July 9 – Friday, July 13, 2012 completed with name, address, contact phone number (required).  Photocopies and facsimiles are not valid. Competition closes by last mail received at The West Australian on Wednesday July 18, 2012. Finalists draws will commence on Monday, July 16, 2012.

3.    Subject to clause 32, entry is open to all residents of Western Australia over the age of 18. Photographic identification may be required upon collection of the prize.

4.    A total of four (4) finalists will be drawn, one (1) each day at 10am on Monday, July 16; Tuesday, July 17; Wednesday, July 18; Thursday, July 19 and the finalist name will be announced on Channel Seven Perth (one finalist each night) during Home and Away from 7pm.  Entrants must watch Channel Seven Perth to see if their name appears and then call 9344 0777 within 30 minutes of the announcement to qualify. In the event that the Entrant lives outside the telecast area for Channel Seven, as determined by the address shown on the entry coupon, they do not need to call within 30 minutes. They will automatically qualify as a finalist.

5.    Entrants are only eligible to become a finalist once.

6.    The major prize winner will be drawn from the qualified finalists at 10am on Friday, July 20, 2012. The winner will be notified by telephone after the prize draw. In the instance that the winner cannot be contacted on the phone number provided within five (5) working days, the prize will be forfeited and a new winner will be drawn.  Once confirmed by telephone, a winners letter will be sent to the Major Prize Winner.

7.    The major prize consists of:

•    Two (2) return Emirates Business Class flights to Dubai and the winner’s choice of Barcelona or Lisbon. The destination city is to be confirmed by the winner on the entry coupon.
•    Three (3) nights’ accommodation and breakfast for two people at the Pullman Mall of the Emirates, Dubai.
•    Five (5) nights’ accommodation and breakfast for two people at the Hotel Novotel Barcelona City OR Hotel Novotel in Lisbon.
•    Total Prize Package value is $24,000 RRP.

8.    If the winner is unable to travel within the specified dates, the winner's prize will be forfeited; dates and vouchers cannot be extended. The winner and their guests must travel together on the same flight. All costs associated with changes to flight and accommodation details once booked are the responsibility of the winner.

9.    Airline tickets are valid on Emirates Airline only and are non-extendable, non-transferable, non-re-routable, non-endorsable and non-cashable.  The prize (or any part thereof) cannot be sold, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken for cash.  No responsibility is accepted for any variation in the value of the prize. Airline tickets are valid for travel on Emirates services only, over the specified routing and in the stated class of travel. Travel restrictions may apply. All bookings must be coordinated and booked through Emirates.

10.    To book flights the winner must present the winners letter issued when redeeming flight tickets from Emirates.  This is to ensure the recipient of the flight(s) is the confirmed winner of the competition.

11.    To claim the accommodation in Dubai and Barcelona or Lisbon the winner must contact Cynthia Dammerer, PR Manager for Accor Asia Pacific at: c.dammerer@bigpond.com or 0409 594 766.

12.    Prize is valid for travel booked and must be taken within 12 months from the date marked on the winner’s letter.  Once issued, tickets will be valid for three (3) months from date of departure. No extensions are permitted.

13.    Travel during peak times of the year, e.g. Christmas time, or on flights forecast to have very high demand should be avoided.  Emirates will endeavour to do all possible to allow travel on the dates/times most preferred by the prize winner, however reserves the right to not allow travel on flights that are in extremely high demand on commercial grounds.

14.    Blackout dates and restrictions may apply when booking accommodation and availability is at the discretion of each individual hotel. Booking enquiries should be made directly with the hotel, by quoting voucher number.

15.    Adequate travel insurance for the duration of the trip must be organised by the winner at his/her own expense.  Meals or tips, transfer fees (other than specified), excess baggage, government taxes, airport charges, visas, travel insurance and any other personal expenses not specified in the prize package must be paid for by the winner.  A valid passport is required for all International journeys.

16.    The ticket holder is entitled to the normal baggage allowance as per the existing rules.

17.    The prize cannot be taken in conjunction with any other Emirates or Prize Sponsor offer.

18.    Emirates Skywards miles cannot be incurred on these tickets.

19.    The winner cannot use the Emirates Chauffeur Drive service with this prize.

20.    The winner must make their own way to Perth International airport in order to meet their Emirates flight. The prize does not include any cost the winner may incur to travel to the airport.

21.    The Prize is subject to the terms and conditions of participating service providers.

22.    The Promoters reserve the right to substitute any prize with that of a similar value at any time without prior notice.

23.    It will be the winner’s responsibility to redeem the prize from the Promoters. No cartage expenses are included in the prize.

24.    It is a condition of entry that all prize winners agree to have their name and suburb published for publicity purposes if required. By participating in this competition, participants signify their acceptance of all conditions and the requirement to participate in promotional activity if required.

25.    In participating in the competition, entrants agree to participate and co-operate as required in all editorial activities relating to the competition, including but not limited to being interviewed and photographed. The winner agrees to grant the Promoters a perpetual and exclusive licence to use such footage and photographs, as well as their actual entries (whether on DVD or photograph) in all media worldwide and the winner will not be entitled to any fee for such use. The winner agrees they will not, and will ensure that their companions do not, sell or otherwise provide their story and/or photographs to any media or other organisation.

26.    On completion of the prize draw, envelopes which contain the competition entries will be kept by The West Australian for twelve months. This is a mandatory requirement of the Gaming and Wagering Act WA. All coupon entries will be destroyed after this time period. No personal details will be recorded.

27.    All contestants release from, and indemnify the Promoters against, all liability, cost, loss or expense arising out of acceptance of any prize(s) or participation in the competition including (but not limited to) loss of income, personal injury and damage to property and whether direct or consequential, foreseeable, due to some negligent act or omission or otherwise.

28.    The Promoters and associated agencies accept no responsibility for any loss, damage, accident, death or injury resulting from the promotion.

29.    Entry into this competition signifies acceptance of all conditions.  The Promoters’ decision will be final and cannot be contested.  No correspondence will be entered into.  The Promoters reserve the right to limit entry or amend rules if considered necessary without notice.

30.    30.1  The entrant consents to the use by West Australian Newspapers Limited Group and its related corporations (as defined by the Corporations Act 2001) of the entrants’ details and acknowledges that West Australian Newspapers Limited Group and its related corporations, may, at its discretion disclose and use those details for the purpose of providing you with goods or services, communicating with you, planning, research, product and business development and sales, the benefit,  promotion and marketing (whether target, direct or indirect) of their businesses, services or products or those of a third party which we believe may be of benefit to Participants or them. The details will also be used to investigate complaints, as required or permitted by any law, to enable West Australian Newspapers Limited Group to perform its obligations to you under this or any other agreement and to ensure that you perform your obligations under this or any other agreement.

31.    Completed entries which have ticked the box titled “I would like to receive updates on Emirates sale fares and special offers, and promotional offers from the Accor Group.” will have their information collected for the purpose of promotion and marketing and agree to be contacted and receive marketing and promotional materials from Emirates and the Accor Group.

•    By ticking the box entrants agree to give Emirates and the Accor Group permission to keep their personal details on record for the use of a database and for marketing and promotion indefinitely.
